Some of the information about ancient Egypt contained in the Qur’an reveals historical facts that had remained hidden until only recently. Do Muslims actually still believe what Maurice says in his Quran bible science book?
If so, that is a shame.
For your own sake that book does more harm than good. Might have gotten away with it in the 80s and 90s but the accessibility of articles and research on the internet have vastly shown that his claims have been refuted. This lead to many dawahangists who relied on his book to retract many of their words and videos, even to the point where one like Hamza Tzortzis made a video conceding that the Quran has no scientific miracles.

You are right, it’s a very long and detailed document. Full credit to the author. It’s saying that there is no real argument for a link between the two Hamans. It also showed the Book of Esther, where the Biblical Haman is mentioned is unquestionably fiction. The last paragraph sums it up.
“Should the Qur’an be considered wrong or confused by default simply because it does not report the same type of information found in the Bible? Interestingly, it is never stated whether the Bible could have its information wrong or confused.”
Worth reading if you were going to personally take the argument further. As for me I’ll just sit back and smoke piped tobacco, secure in the knowledge that honest and reliable scholars, such the above mentioned author, are burning the midnight oil on my behalf. May God reward them.

In 2016 they are debating even the original name of ‘Jesus’. Because someone’s name in the Bible resembles a name in the Quran means automatically it’s the same person, despite they belonging to different locations and eras, is stretching the imagination too far.

I see. Speaking of 2 people with the same name. I would be interested in some debate over Jesus Barabas “Son of the father” as I think there is a very interesting argument to be made that he was the one who was crucified and not Jesus (PBUH) son of Mary.

I think Egypt and its rulers are mentioned at least twice when Moses (PBUH) and Joseph (Not the Joseph of Jesus(PBUH). I believe that former mentions them as Kings and the latter calls the rule of the time Pharaoh which should allow us to narrow the possibilities because there was a time the rulers of Egypt were called “King” before the name Pharaoh was used much later.
Bare in mind I might have the order of Moses and Joseph the wrong way around but you get the gist.

Moving on to the absurdities and insults against the prophets found in your pagan writings you should note that Jesus predicted the last day/end of days would happen during the lifetimes of his contemporaries, yet here we are almost 2000 years later and we are still waiting. 1) You claimed the antibacterial properties about the fly have been “debunked” but bring no sources at all (in fact you completely ignored this point and failed to mention it in your pathetic response). You stated something about “parallel” text but provide yet again absolutely no evidence. Please go and find something somewhere that tries to cover up the fact that this is a false prophecy.
Jesus says “This generation will not pass away until all these things have taken place” (Mark 13:30). I know some people believe “this generation” refers to the generation that “sees all these things”, but that interpretation doesn’t jive with me, especially in light of Matthew 16:28. It seems to me that Jesus (and his followers) really believed he would be returning in the disciples lifetime.
The “Parallel” texts as you say further compound the issue and extinguish any hope you had including your typical go-to excuse of “its a parable”.
Bring your proof, not your desires.

Hello All,
In regards to dating the Pharo who the Quran was referring to (and possible the Torah) , was there not the discovery of the Pharaohs body in the red sea or something and his body is being exhibited in various museums around the world?
If so that would mean that we can identify the pharaoh himself and data the time of death via various methods including decomposition etc?

Here are some Hadith authentic I believe unless someone can correct me.
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, “Allah created Adam, making him 60 cubits tall. When He created him, He said to him, “Go and greet that group of angels, and listen to their reply, for it will be your greeting (salutation) and the greeting (salutations of your offspring.” So, Adam said (to the angels), As-Salamu Alaikum (i.e. Peace be upon you). The angels said, “As-salamu Alaika wa Rahmatu-l-lahi” (i.e. Peace and Allah’s Mercy be upon you). Thus the angels added to Adam’s salutation the expression, ‘Wa Rahmatu-l-lahi,’ Any person who will enter Paradise will resemble Adam (in appearance and figure). People have been decreasing in stature since Adam’s creation. (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 55, Number 543)
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah’s Apostle said, “The first group of people who will enter Paradise, will be glittering like the full moon and those who will follow them, will glitter like the most brilliant star in the sky. They will not urinate, relieve nature, spit, or have any nasal secretions. Their combs will be of gold, and their sweat will smell like musk. The aloes-wood will be used in their centers. Their wives will be houris. All of them will look alike and will resemble their father Adam (in statute), sixty cubits tall.” (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 55, Number 544)
Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The first group of my Ummah to get into Paradise would be like a full moon in the night. Then those who would be next to them; they would be like the most significantly glittering stars in regard to brightness, then after them (others) in ranks. They would neither void excrement, nor pass water, nor suffer from catarrh, nor would they spit. And their combs would be made of gold, and the fuel of their braziers would be aloes and their sweat would be musk and their form would be the form of one single person according to the length of their father sixty cubits tall. This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Ibn Abi Shaiba with a slight variation of wording. (Sahih Muslim, Book 040, Number 6796, cf. No. 6795)
Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, created Adam in His own image with His length of sixty cubits, and as He created him He told him to greet that group, and that was a party of angels sitting there, and listen to the response that they give him, for it would form his greeting and that of his offspring. He then went away and said: Peace be upon you! They (the angels) said: May there be peace upon you and the Mercy of Allah, and they made an addition of” Mercy of Allah”. So he who would get into Paradise would get in the form of Adam, his length being sixty cubits, then the people who followed him continued to diminish in size up to this day. (Sahih Muslim, Book 040, Number 6809; cf. Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 74, Number 246)
This is not made up by Christians.

The “Haman in the hieroglyphics” thing is outdated unfortunately.
The only source for this claim is Maurice Bucaille and we all know how credible he is.
I think this Haman thing was once mentioned in Wikipedia but has been removed for quite some time now because they could not find any other source to back up Maurice’s claim.
Haman’s name is not found in the Rosetta Stone. I remember talking about his other claimed miracle of the Quran about the preservation of the Pharoahs body despite many pharaohs having their bodies preserved.
I thought that one was bad but this is worse because he almost mentions it from thin air. The only credible thing about Maurice Bucaille is that he went to Egypt. That doesn’t mean that everything else he says is true.
For anyone who thinks I’m lying, try do some research on Haman in Egypt or the name Haman in hieroglyphs and get back to me on this site when you find a credible source.

Funny how the Islamic awareness post uses a significant amount of space to write about how the Biblical Haman story is false or inaccurate, yet the word Haman has more Persian roots than Egyptian.
