You often hear stories in the media of apostates from Islam who get mistreated by their parents or the community. Such incidents are in the majority of times splashed all over newspapers. The hysteria often surrounds how Islam is “evil”. Islam is to blame. While such stories get major media attention, such is not afforded to those who convert to Islam and endure similar treatment.
Over the years I have personally heard of many convert stories to Islam, where they often tell people how they get mistreated by their parents or the community for choosing to believe in Islam. They often get threatened with death. Beaten up. Aren’t allowed to follow the religion they voluntarily choice to follow. Kicked out of their houses. Why aren’t these stories told in newspapers? Why don’t these people matter in the media?

These stories don’t get reported, because they don’t fit in with the Islamophobic narrative that the media feeds and forces down the throats of the public. There little to no balance in reporting, and negative news stories are regularly biased against Islam.

Women would not be converting to Islam if these empty claims were true. The fact that women continue to be the single largest demographic reverting to Islam debunks these lies.
It is clear that there is something beautiful within Islam that women (and men) find which speaks to their heart and mind and provides comfort to the restless soul. Only the one who pursues the path of Islam, with an open and committed heart can fully know the peace that it brings.

There’s a reason almost all translators translate the term is “beat them” or “scourge them”.
The context is plain as day. Clear and unambiguous. The Quran permits husbands to beat rebellious wives into subservience.
Embarrassed/ashamed Muslims can interpret/spin it any way they like. They’re not fooling anybody with a clue.

Imagine if I said the beat verse in Qur’an is really about the “structure of the Mosque” you would never accept such an explanation, yet you expect me to accept that the Biblical verses about subjection of women to their husbands are just about the “structure of the Church” what a joke. If a man loves his son by giving him the rod, then should he love his wife in the same way even more so? I guess that is just about the “structure of the church.”
The question I have is about the “structure” of this Christian Rod? Will you beat your wife and son with a rod that is it 3 ft long or 4 ft long? is it made of strong wood, or is it made of iron?

BTW : In Islam the ideal is to wipe with soil, or toiler paper and then wash yourself. That is the sunna way to clean after you go to answer call of nature. I guess Jesus would have done the same. But you westerners have left the Sunna of Jesus behind.
