Is your name Robert Wells? Do you post under the pseudonym of “American Lives Matter” on Blogging Theology? Do you enter into discussions here, only to end up needing help in responding to Muslims?
Instead of getting the help he needed, he instead caused Christians to disagree with each other, with almost none of them agreeing on the doctrine of the Trinity. In fact, “Patriotic Islamophobe” ended up supporting the Muslim’s use of the ontotheological argument, while another affirmed that the “Muslim is making a good point”.
Well done Robert, no wonder you won’t post here under your real name!

Probably that Robert Wells like many Christians first need help themselves to come ot see that Jesus is the sent one from God and not God Himself having come down to earth. According to the Bible Jesus is the son of man and son of God and not a god son, like so many name Christians want to believe. According to the Bible, the infallible Word of God Jesus is the Way to God, and that should be no problem to make this clear to Muslims, showing that real Christians also believe in Only One true God, the god of Israel, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Jesus and his disciples, and not in the pagan three-headed god so many so called Christians believe in and worship, insted of accepting what God and Jesus say about each other.

According to the bible ie John 1:1 Jesus is God. Thomas calls him my Lord and my God. Paul calls him the creator of Heavan and Earth.
Jesus said he will Judge the whole of humanity. Not the Father.

Achillies you may think I never read the bible, but I can assure you in the 7 decades I am already on this earth I heave read already several Bible versions in many languages. As a lover of God and preacher I also have taken lots of time to think about that Word of God.
May I remind you that the God Who does not tell lies, Himself declared Jesus to be His only begotten beloved son.

I never actually understood what the author had in mind when he wrote john 1:1.
Who is the ‘word’ in this verse, and who is ‘God’, because it says ‘the word was with God’.

The Word wich was with God is teh speking of God, the result of breath coming out His mouth and Him letting it be audible sound. At the beginning of times many times God spoke and thr things came into being (light,waters,etc.). In the first part “the God” is rhe divine Creator, the God of gods. Later in the verse John looks at one of those gods, who was promised in the Garden of Eden, the solution against the curse od death. That promise was made by the divine God of gods speaking about a god (a high being) he would provide,namely the sent one from Him, the Messiah Jesus Christ.

Sonship has nothing to do with having sex nor with being the same as the Father. You as a child of your mother and father are not your mother nor your father. A child of God in the same way is not God.

Jesus like you received the allowance to be born. Though whilst all human beings except the first Adam and Eve did not come forth from a women. Jesus, though coming forth from the womb of a woman, was in a special way placed in that young virgin by the Power of God (the Holy Spirit) to become the second Adam.

Jesus was created in a special way. I find the use of your language confusing. To speak of a “begotten” son of God makes no sense, as God does not beget.

God was not begotten, but Jesus was begotten. Jesus is not God.
Jesus came into being by the Power of God. He did not have to have sex with any body to create a living being. From the beginning of times God spoke and what He wanted came into being. The same with Jeshua, Jesus Christ.

That’s what Muslims believe. It makes no sense to speak of Jesus as a literal son of God.

It is not at all to make such a believe only to be a privilege of Muslims. This is what real Christians do believe, because that is what the Bible, which we consider the infallible Word of God, tells us.

That is a very wrong misunderstanding of you. In the Messianic Scriptures any body can find the injil telling very clearly who Jesus is and Who his heavenly Father is as well who his other ‘fathers’ or patriarchs are, like Father Abraham, which is also the Father of all Jews and Christians and also should be the father for all Muslims.

Dear Burhanuddin, in case you are a Muslim you should know from Quran that Allah has provide guidance to all people. He gave the task to His chosen men to write down His Words. As such not only Jews, Christians and Muslims could come to know what God wants from man. Also goyim, non-believers or kafars can come to read the Holy Scriptures in which Allah tells mankind what He wants from man.
Please read Al-Baqarah 2:285 where is written that all those who wrote down those words where man of faith. Allah having revealed to mankind the truth (find this also in Imran 3:3-4) Also Islamic people should read the Torah, Tanakh, Injil and Letters of the apostles. (See also Al Ma’idah 5:46-47)
Allah did not only provide His Word for Muslims alone, it is for all people.
For sure Jews, christians and Muslims should believe what is written in those Scriptures, so let you as me be pleased that Muslims also do believe what we as Christians believe that there is Only One true God, Allah, The Most High Divine Elohim, the God of gods and Host of hosts, Who created from nothing everything.

Nope that’s a fact. All you might call “false” Christians refer to the same “infallible” Bible when they speculate who Jesus is.
You need a quality control, that’s one reason why the Qur’an was revealed.

For that reason we also do advise people to read the Quran. But in a way pepole should already have enough with the Torah to get to know God. But is because people are so stubborn and do not want to see added literature was provided in the hope people should come to understand those things they did not yet understand. Therefore You have the Nevim, the Kethubim Aleph and Kethuvim Bet which both should be sufficient to come to know the sent one from God and to understand better the Will of God. Because in the times passing after Jeshua’s death so many people once again went totally wrong Allah has provided an other prophet than the last prophet Jeshua.As such the world got again a prophet (Muhammad or Mohammed) to get people back on track. There was so much idolatry and pagan worship again that there was need for some one to help people to come back to God. But do not forget that in all those years before and after Muhammad there always have been real lovers of the Only One true God, Allah, the Elohim Hashem Jehovah. They never wanted to be of the world but wanted to be of Christ, to be part of the body of Christ or to be a sincere lover of God keeping to His commandments. From Moshe (Moses) onwards there is a line of continuation of people loving God and keeping to those Mosaic commandments, later also people coming to keep to the Davidic Covenant and others to the New Covenant with Christ.
Christians and Muslims may or should be pleased that they have the additional writings supplied by the Most High, but they too should all have the same God as the Abrahamic people, the Jews. Having all the same God and the same prophets of god, they having also all the same holy places should (learn to) live together in peace and have a religion of peace also bringing peace to others (shalom or shalaam). They should not be divided but united as one, under Allah, the Most High.

Also know that the Truth comes from God’s Word revealed in Torah, Prophets, Hebrew Writings and Greek Writings the same as it does from the Arabic writings.

Not sure what you are talking about. From a Muslim perspective al Qur’an is the only universal revelation. All others before were limited for a specific time, place and people.

From a Muslim perspective Jesus was a Jewish prophet preaching Judaism to Jews only. That’s what biblical scholarship confirms today about the historical Jesus.
Quran 3v49: and (make him) an apostle to the children of Israel….
Quran 43v59: he (Jesus) was naught but a servant on whom we bestowed favour and we made him an example for the children of Israel.

Again you limit your view concerning the sent ones from God (prophets) like Jeshua (Jesus Christ) considering him only to be there to speak to the Jews and not to the goyim. Rabbi Jeshua (Jesus/Ishi) spoke for all people and wanted to show all people the Way to God (He also declared to be the Way to God).
He was a servant for the children of Israel but that does not mean that he would not be a servant to God nor that he would not be a messenger for other people than Jews.
