Nabeel should know what Jesus looks like because he has appeared to him in visions 😉
Jay sadly would see only his own reflection as do many evangelicals when it comes to seeing Jesus 😦

Jesus is whoever you want him to be.
He can be pro gun, a flag waving patriot, a pro market neoliberal and an opponent of universal medical coverage …ask the Republican party and their base if you don’t believe me.

Regarding Nabeel’s dream, I’m just curious to know if christianity has its own literature or its own knowledge regarding dreams and their interpretations .

Yes I wonder if they have dream interpretation sciences

Excellent idea. Visualizing the real Jesus should be no problem using visualizing technology.

Patrice do you know of any Christians who argue that Christ actually looked liked Hollywood’s portrayal or European artist depictions in the middle ages?

Not only Muslims but a certain notorious agnostic (me) is also interested in how missionaries are able to speak nonsense with a straight face while as is often the case the real Jesus is left behind wondering how someone can think of him as Fabio!

O dear. Jay is talking about Jesus during the incarnation and he is referring to Isaiah 53. Actually we have no idea what Jesus actually looked like.
Whereas the book of Revelation gives a detailed physical description of Jesus. In all his resurrected glory.
Another risible effort by Yahya. Who can’t even distinguish between the two different contexts.

Achillies, Trinitarians believe in a bodily resurrection. They believe to this day that Jesus has piercings in his hands.
Are you saying Trinitarians believe Jesus was not attractive but now he is?
Where’s your brother blue verses you use to come to this belief? Please quote..

There is no physical description of Jesus in any of the gospels. Some people speculate he was not good looking because of Isaiah 53:2 which says:
“He grew up before him like a tender shoot,
And like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
Nothing in his appearance that we should desire him”
The reason there is no physical description in the gospels is that it is irrelevant what Jesus looked like during the incarnation. It’s not what he looks like now. What does he look like now you ask? cf Revelation 1:12-18
“I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I sawseven golden lampstands and among the lampstands was someone like a son of man dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. The hair on his head was like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were blazing like fire. His feet were like Bronze glowing in a furnace anf his voice was like the sound of many waters. In his right hand he held seven stars, and coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in its brilliance”
“When i saw him, i fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: “do not be afraid. I am the first and last. I am the living one. I was dead, and now look. I am alive for ever and ever. And i hold the keys of death and hades”
The interesting thing is that John described himself (in his gospel) as the disciple who Jesus loved. Yet when he saw Jesus in all his glory (thought to be on Patmos in 96AD) he said I became like a deadman.
