Ah I think this is the gentleman who has a really pleasant discussion with Hashim a few weeks ago. This gentleman listens and tries to have a dialogue at least.

Yes, I think he is a gentleman, and because that there are a lot like him who have been misled by the church and the evangelical socitey, we need to do more efforts to invite/explain for them the pure message of Allah.

The foundations of the Quran are clear, unlike the bible.
It is He who has sent down to you, [O Muhammad], the Book; in it are verses [that are] precise – they are the foundation of the Book – and others unspecific. As for those in whose hearts is deviation [from truth], they will follow that of it which is unspecific, seeking discord and seeking an interpretation [suitable to them]. And no one knows its [true] interpretation except Allah. But those firm in knowledge say, “We believe in it. All [of it] is from our Lord.” And no one will be reminded except those of understanding. [Surah 3:7]
We also know who is on the right path, out of the 72 sects.
It was narrated from Mu’aawiyah ibn Abi Sufyaan (may Allaah be pleased with him) that he said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) stood among us and said: “Those who came before you of the people of the Book split into seventy-two sects, and this ummah will split into seventy-three: seventy-two in Hell and one in Paradise, and that is the jamaa’ah (main body of Muslims).”
In another narration:
“My ummah will split into seventy-three sects, all of whom will be in Hell except one group.” They said: Who are they, O Messenger of Allaah? He said: “(Those who follow) that which I and my companions follow.”

Near the end of the above video Greg quotes John 14:6, which he (like many Christians) paraphrases as, “No one can get to the Father except through the son.”
The Jewish Author Franz Rosenzweig, totally undermined John 14:6 by reasoning that if the Christian God is one and the same father as the Old testament God, then why do the Jews need to go through the son, to get to the Father, whom they are already with!!!
By the same token, a similar argument can be made that Muslims worship the OT God of Abraham, so there is also no need to go through the “son” to get to the “Father” (Almighty God Allah) whom the Muslims are already with!!

Jews indeed need to go through the son. Jesus said he will judge the whole of humanity. Get it. He decides who gets into heaven.
Psalm 2 do homage to the Son lest he become angry and you perish.
As for the Patriachs, Jesus said Abraham looked forward to his day and rejoiced. His redeeming death reaches back in time as well as forward in time.
Paul makes the definitive statement on Jews and the gospel in Romans 9,10 &11

You miss the point. The Bahai accept Muhammad as a messenger of God but not the final prophet nor is the koran the final revelation. There reasoning is the same as yours is toward Christ and the Church. In the same way you reject their reasoning (even though you are inconsistent), we reject yours.
In other words, you can’t criticize Christ and the Church for doing the very same thing you do to others.

Yes, we often hear that line from Christians when backed into a corner on their beliefs, and asked how they can justify beliefs that are clearly unbiblical, they respond “I just have faith.”
Or my personal favorite, line from preachers who are unable to answer tough questions….
“It’s just a mystery!”
