Some of the greatest scientists, theologicans and philosophers are Christians. They understand that God is complex and our study of Him is one of the greatest and hardest challenges. They also recognise that the simplistic polemics of muhammadanism against the faith reflects more on Muhammad, than the true God.

Jesus taught that God is 1 Lord not 3 – see Mark 12:29:
Jesus answered, “The foremost commandment is, ‘Hear this O Israel: The Lord our God is One Lord”
If the Trinity doctrine was true he would have taught that. He did not. The great British scientist Isaac Newton knew that and became a unitarian Christian.

That is the teaching of the trinity actually. That God is one Lord. Three persons are one God and one Lord. Tis mystery all. But quite easy to comprehend as far the human intellect can go with the concept. Perhaps not very far but far enough to believe.

This is the crux of the issue. When you run to “mystery” for your core doctrine who is to explain what part is fact and what part is a mystery. You could go to any verse in the bible and say “well it means something else” because it contradicts your narrative or common sense.
What kind of “god” would make his core doctrine and only way of salvation completely absent from his message or the least likely hypothesis??
“Follow the truth guys, but good luck if you can find evidence of it”

I believe in three persons who could be addressed and worshipped as Lord in the highest possible sense. In that sense I believe in three Lords although we are not commanded to call the Holy Spirit anything.
Ontologically they are the same God.
We just see him from a different perspective in the NT.
It would be dishonouring to God if I were to conceive of him simply on the basis of the OT and ignore the light of the NT given through the incarnation of the Word. The NT revelation sheds light on the OT.
