Israel is the only thriving democracy in the ME. It should be supported for that alone, regardless of ones eschatological view, which btw, I think is just another case of Americans being pedantic

According to Christian Palestinian leaders, the number of Christians living in the Holy City was 30,000 in 1948 and is less than 10,000 today thanks to the apartheid colonial state that is largely supported by American Christians.

Quran 5:51] O you who believe, do not take [certain] Jews and Christians as allies; these are allies of one another. Those among you who ally themselves with these belong with them. God does not guide the transgressors.
These Jews and Christians are allies of one another and are determined enemies of Islam.
