Maybe because you heard the saying: “keeps the doctor away” and thought that you didn’t need to see the doctor because you ate your daily apple. A bit ironic really.
I always thought it was a dumb saying. They’re not mutually exclusive – eating healthy and going to the doctor. I suppose it’s just a way for parents to get their kids to eat healthy.
Is the Apple in question three persons/parts, (the skin, the pulp, and the seed) with only one nature in agreement with “Core” Trinitarian doctrine? Or is the apple absolute in its crisp and clear, wholesome fresh Oneness?
I think it may depend on if the Apple was organically grown in accordance with original Orthodoxy of the Jerusalem Church, or if it is a Genetically Modified Organism which meets the standards of later Paulinian proto-orthodoxy (Heresy).

That’s kinda the point of the original saying isn’t it?? The Irony is that you die anyway.
As for me, I eat healthy AND visit the Doctor – Insha’Allah Khair!
