US air strike in Mosul killed at least 105 civilians, Pentagon confirms

News just in…

The Independent reports:

‘A Pentagon investigation has found more than 100 civilians were killed in a US bombing in Mosul, Iraq, in March, making it one of the largest incidents of civilian death since the US air campaign against Isis began in 2014.

The military reports 101 civilians in the building were killed, and another four died in a nearby building. Thirty-six civilians remain unaccounted for.

The deaths represent about a quarter of all civilian deaths since the US air campaign began.’

  2. Where is our dear friend Right Reverend Ken Temple? Iraq was peaceful with a Christian vice president, until the Evangelical Christians supported for war there like how they are supporting for war on Iran right now with another lies of weapon of mass destruction.

When the whole world are against Trump’s hatred towards Muslims, it is Christians and Arab Monarchs who are hailing him by inviting him to many Christians universities and in Saudi Arabia to talk.\

Thanks for the good people of the US who are fighting Trump and his Christian supporters. Kudus to the US courts, judges and lawyes who halted Trumps and his supporters ban on all Muslims for now.

    Thanks.

Baghdad is Madinat Al salaam( the city of Peace).
Damascus is Madinat Al yasameen( the city of jasmine)
Those 2 cities were the capitals of the Islamic world.
What has haapned, for God sake ?

May Allah relieve our brothers and sisters in Iraq and Syria.

  7. According to the night raid hadiths civilian deaths are justified as long as the they are not knowingly made a specific target of the attack.

Mohammed’s attack from long range with a catapult on the city of Taif, containing civilians, is in line with his permission to attack civilians in a random, indiscriminate manner. Attacking them as the accessoire of the main target of the attack so to speak.

From this viewpoint the civilian deaths as a result of allied air strikes cannot be condemned.

Muslims should read the bible for a better ethic of war and take a leaf out of that book.

      Lol, okay let’s do that:

“Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, 18 but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man.”

Wow, now that’s a “better ethic of war”!

      Holy Spirit fail!

So Ignoramus, was the killing of Canaanite children right or wrong?

    • The night raid Hadith dealt with an attack on a military encampment.

The catapults on Taif were to bring down the fortification walls.

Taking a leaf out of the Bible is the worst suggestion you could have made.

“How blessed will be the one who grabs your babies and smashes them on a rock! “[Psalms 137:9]

“Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy all that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.'”[1 Sam 15:3]

    • Also, the people who narrated the night raid Hadith used to also mention the Hadith of prohibiting attacks on women and children because they wanted to make sure this Hadith was not misused.

What’s your authority for restricting the scope of application? Muslims often add the context of their choice to sugar coat the violent texts.

The catapults on Taif were to bring down the fortification walls.”

I doubt they could be fired with such accuracy so as not to endanger civilians.

Also I thought there was no compulsion in islamic religion? Just a bit of gentle persuasion from beyond the ramparts?

“Also, the people who narrated the night raid Hadith used to also mention the Hadith of prohibiting attacks on women and children because they wanted to make sure this Hadith was not misused.”

Mohammed just said “they are from them” when told that his fighters had killed women and children during the night raids. Or in modern jargon “no big deal guys, keep up the good work.”

Your repeated appeals to the “night raid” hadith only solidifies your status as a Christian clown who criticizes Islam while simultaneously believing that his mangod commanded the killing of babies. But since your mind is so rotten from the influence of holy/lying spirit, you can’t see the irony, which even a five-year old Canaanite child could see…just before he is stabbed to death by your mangod’s Israelite hordes.

Why can’t you see the irony of your laughable crocodile tears regarding the “night raid” hadith while your Bible refers to infanticide? Is your mangod really pro-life?

Are the Americans so easily deceived? Are they that stupid? Didn’t they make sure that the building wasn’t occupied? How could they not know that the building had hundreds of innocent people inside?

if yes, this is the sickness of your religion . and i believe all christians would want blood because they don’t want to be fried like bacon in hell. so please don’t tell anyone about ripping open of flesh, or killing babies or stabbing pregnant women, your entire dirty and filthy theology depends on shedding of blood.

please christians , don’t lecture people about violence or murder. please. the whole world is laughing at you.
