      I’m sure there are alot of such crackpots. Some are just cowards who make excuses for Biblical atrocities, like our friend Lassie. But others are willing to manifest their hate into action, like the psycho in Oregon.

    • Hey Om Paulus, what the islamophobia got to do with Jakarta’s governor?. While Im not all for the idea of an idol worshipper to govern my city, but I can tell you the majority of people who have cast their ballot against this man is because his  rude and brash demeanours. He is a bad and arrogant politician who look down to anyone and lash out dirty language. Im grateful that he is now in jail because he unashamedly made dreadful comments regarding the holy Qur’an whilst doing a public campaigns using tax payer moneys as if he was a leading mufti of Qur’anic tafseer.  He disregard the feeling of millions of devout believers. He  had breached the norm and showed lack of sensitivity. People are fed up with him because he is bad leader who is abusive and accusatory,  a politician who love to stir ethnic hatred and schism among people

You like him simply because he is your co-religionist , it’s disgusiting that you are blinded to his crime, it makes you a blinkered, shame on you

      Btw his case was not unprecedented, there were many other cases much recently back in 2013 a Christian Woman jailed in Bali for insulting Hindu offerings, what makes him different??, just because he is backed by tycoon moneys and major political parties?? there is no way this man dodge the law, he deserved the sentence.

    Allah is not the god of Jesus

    I say;
    Hear it from Jesus’s own mouth.

    Mark 15:34
    At the ninth hour, Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” which means, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”

    Mathew 27:46
    New International Version
    About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”).

    Laa ilaaha illalaah, Mohamed ar-Rasool Allah
    (Translation: There is absolutely no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and Mohamed (saws) is the Messenger of Allah.)

    Jesus spoke Aramaic and he called his God Elah, Allaha, Allah.

    Thanks.

    • There is nothing wrong with the Arabic word, Allah or the Aramaic words (used in quote in Psalm 22:1 in Mark 15:34 and Matthew 27:46) to communicate the one true Sovereign and Holy and All wise and All Loving God of the Bible, who revealed Himself as a Trinity of One God in three persons, with the incarnation (John 1:1-5; John 1:14; Philippians 2:5-8) and NT teaching on the Deity of Christ, (Colossians 1:15-20; Hebrews 1:1-12; John 20:28; 5:17-18; 8:24: 8:56-58; 10:30; Romans 9:5; I Corinthians 8:6) and the Deity of the Holy Spirit (Acts 5:3-5; John 14, 16).

      But that cry that Jesus made from the cross points to the truth of the cross and the atonement for sin and that Jesus voluntarily took on the wrath of God the Father against sin; and paid the price for sin.
      John 10:18
      Mark 10:45
      Isaiah 53:1-12

  7. The Allah ( ho Theos / ‘ο θεος ) of 1 Corinthians 11:3 is the Father.

    I Corinthians 1:3
    “Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.”

    The whole book is Trinitarian, as is 2 Corinthians. One of the famous Trinitiarian verses is in 2 Cor. 13:14 – “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (The Son), and the love of God (The Father), and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.”

    I Corinthians 1:9
    “God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”

    1 Corinthians 8:6
    “yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.”

    So, 1 Corinthians 11:3 has to be interpreted in light of the other verses.

    So 1 Corinthians 11:3 is pointing to the heirarchy in the economic Trinity (different roles) – the Father and the Son – and since Islam denies the Trinity, the Fatherhood of God, the Sonship of Jesus, the Deity of Christ, etc. 1 Cor. 11:3 is not speaking of the Allah of Islam, but there is nothing wrong linquistically of using the Arabic word Allah for the God of the Bible.

    Allah الله is the best word to translate Elohim in the OT and ho Theos in the NT.

    But Muslims have to be taught who the true Allah is; all of the NT truth.

    “teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you” Matthew 28:19

  8. Nothing wrong with the Allah, for Arabic speakers, and others like Indonesians who use the Word Allah for the One God, as it is still the best word for Elohim in the OT and ho Theos in the NT. Arabic speaking Christians in Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, etc. use Allah for the Trinitarian God of the Bible.

    But Iranian Muslims have their own word, “Khoda” خدا , as also Urdu speakers and others in Central Asia.
    and modern Turks prefer, Tanri . (the i at the end should not have a dot, but I don’t have the Turkish software).

    But the true Allah, is Trinitarian – The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

    Islamophobia does exist (as in this case); but Muslims who use the term for everybody who questions or criticizes Islam as an ideology and doctrine are also wrong to apply the term to those of us who have serious disagreements with Islam and it’s violent history and the texts that inspire Islamic terrorism and produce regimes like Saudi Arabia, Iran, Libya, chaos in Iraq, the Taliban areas of Afghanistan and Pakistan, Hamas, etc.

    True missionaries love Muslims as people, but we can also at the same question and criticize the false doctrines of Islam, since they are false and they are by nature set up against the good and beautiful doctrines of Christianity.

      I say;
      You did not mention Egyptian, Jodanian, Qataris and Kuwaity dictators because they serve the US and Evangelical Christian interests.

      Muslims always condemn any terrorist attack, including the one done by the Manchester Muslim, the terrorist attacks of the Evangelical Christians support of zionists to wipe out Palestinian Christians and Muslims including babies sheltered in the UN compound. The Evangelical Christians voting for US republican presidents like Bush and Trump who will go to war in Muslim majority countries and use it to force convert people to Christianity as their ancestors did to slaves from Africa. Later they segregated the blacks they converted and created White only Churches as discrimination until they(Christians) had beaten by the liberals and freedom of religion forced on them.

      How about anti semitism? Can you deny holocaust? without being jailed in some western countries. Can you mention Hitler and compare him with Asad of Syria? Ask White House press secretary. He has to apologize for 2 weeks before his job was spared?

      If you talk of atrocities. I will give you a link that Christians did terrible atrocities until stopped by the blood of the liberal west who get fed up with the persecution from the Christians like Calvin did to Michael.

      Proof:

      Along with the religious consequences of the Reformation and Counter-Reformation came deep and lasting political changes. Northern Europe’s new religious and political freedoms came at a great cost, with decades of rebellions, wars and bloody persecutions. The Thirty Years’ War alone may have cost Germany 40 percent of its population.

    I say;
    Give me an example of 1 Muslim suicide bomber in 1960 or before 1960. Don’t they(the Muslims) then want to go to heaven? If you claim suicide bombings sends Muslims to heaven, why there isn’t a single Muslim suicide bomber in 1960 or 61? 62? until you the Evangelical Christians started to invade their lands to cause wars and chaos there to spread your religion.

    Now, Indonesia is the most populous Muslim nation in the world and India has more Muslims than so many nations in the world.

    Name me one Indonesian Muslim, Malaysian Muslim or Indian Muslim suicide bomber in USA, Germany, Britiani etc. Ken. Name me one Indian Muslim suicide bomber in the USA or elsewhere. India has large Muslim population than all countries in the world. Are they not aware of suicide bombings to go to heaven? Don’t they want to go to heaven? Niger in West Africa has about 95% Muslims. Name me one Nigerien not Nigerian but Nigerien suicide bomber. Are they not aware of suicide bombings to go the heaven? The sSuicide bombers and terrorist always say the do that because US has either occupied their lands, killed their children or cause wars in their lands. Most Palestinians carry their suicide bombings in Israel and not in the USA. You know the reason. I don’t support that and this blog is against any terrorist attack from Muslims, Christians, Jewish, Hindus, Buddhist in Burma against Muslims etc.

    Terrorism is not Islam because Islam was there for centuries and no suicide bombings and or terrorism until the Evangelical Christians wanted to force convert both Muslims and Jews in their lands. That is the problem.

    Thanks.

      I say;

      Name me 1 Iranian suicide bomber in the USA, Britain, France, Germany etc. Name me one. Iran is a peaceful country. It did not attack anyone. Why are the Evangelical Christians like you voting for republican candidates who will go the Iran? The weapons of mass destruction lies of Collin Powell and Bush did not wake you up? my Evangelical Christian friends.

      Now every republican candidates has to say “I will be tough on Iran, Iran, Iran” “military solution on Iran is not off the table” like how the then Bush era republicans kept repeating “weapons of mass destruction” “Saddam is the enemy of the US” lies to get elected by most Evangelical Christian of the USA votes.

      What is wrong with you? I am glad some Christians do not share the Evangelical Christians views of using violence to convert people.

      Please we do not want military solution again on someone’s country who did not attack anyone. Please spare us other suicide bombers. We do not want suicide bombers or terrorists from Buddhist in Myanmar, Muslims, Christians, Jews, Hindus etc. We pray for God to prevent anything that will cause suicide bombers and terrorists. Ameen.

      Thanks.
