Christian missionaries and apologists have been arguing that the Quran completely backs the present day Bible we have in our hands, this indeed is a very interesting false claim, but since they want to cling to this argument I thought I would actually turn the tables on them, showing that in fact it is their Bible which confirms the Quran!
Now if a Christian doesn’t agree and so on I say that’s too bad, I am going to be exactly like Christian missionaries and apologists.
With that said let us give the proof that the Bible does infact confirm the Quran, 1 John 4:1-6 reads:
Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to determine if they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses Jesus as the Christ who has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God, and this is the spirit of the antichrist, that you have heard is coming, and now is already in the world. You are from God, little children, and have conquered them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world’s perspective and the world listens to them. We are from God; the person who knows God listens to us, but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of deceit.” 1 John 4:1-6
So notice the Bible says that anyone who confesses that Jesus is the Christ is from God, that they are a good person, not a false satanic anti-Christ. Well let us read what the Quran says:
3.45
YUSUF ALI: Behold! the angels said: “O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah
The Quran calls Jesus the Christ, the Messiah, hence according to the Bible the Quran must be of God since it confirms that Jesus is the Christ! Hence as you can see according to the Bible the Quran must be from God, and its followers are also on the path of following the true message since we Muslims affirm that Jesus is indeed the Messiah.
So therefore Christians must stop attacking the Quran, to do so means they reject their Bible and are attacking a book and people that their own Bible praises! Hence Christians who attack the Quran are in fact soldiers of the anti-Christ since they are attacking a book and people who bear witness that Jesus is indeed the Christ, Christians attack this hence this means they are the opposite of this hence making them the anti-Christ’s army!
And Allah Certainly knows Best!

The whole point is totally wrong, and silly, and ignores the author’s whole context and meaning and intention, and the book of 1 John, and John’s other writings, since “confessing Jesus as the Messiah coming in the flesh” is not about saying the phonetic sounds, “Al Masih” or The Messiah, but rather the confession is about “the Father and the Son” (1 John 2:22) and the Holy Spirit (1 John 3:24; 4:13), which points to the doctrine of the Trinity; and the doctrine of “the Messiah coming in the flesh” means He is the eternal Word (John 1:1-5), eternal Son (John 17:5) who became human (John 1:14; Philippians 2:5-8); and it also confesses the doctrine of Christ (2 John 1:7-9) which includes His eternal Sonship, His relationship with the Father in the Trinity, and the incarnation – that God the eternal Son became a man. It also includes His propitiatory ransom sacrifice for sin on the cross ( I John 4:9-10). All of these truths were established about 600 years before the Qur’an in the previous Scriptures, being fulfillments of divine prophesy (Psalm 2, 16, 22; Isaiah 53; Daniel 7:13-14; Daniel 9:24-27; Psalm 110; Genesis 12:1-3; 22:18; Isaiah 49:6).
Therefore, there is no way that 1 John 4:1-6 confirms the Qur’an and in fact refutes it as a false book and denials of the Deity Christ, the incarnation, the Father and the Son, the Trinity, the atonement, these are “the spirit of the anti-Christ”.
All religions and philosophies that deny these things explained above are “anti-Christ” religions and ideas; even liberal Christianity, which denies these doctrines as eternal truths. Mormonism and Jehovahs Witnesses, Unitarians, liberal theology, many other cults and religions are “anti-Christ” ideas.

You are reading your Trinitarianism into the text.
The scriptural quote above clearly reads, “every spirit that confesses Jesus as the Christ….” The Qur’an and Prophet Muhammad (sws) both confessed that Jesus was the Masih. Therefore, both Prophet Muhammad and Qur’an are from God.

the whole point of the passage points to the Deity of Christ, the incarnation (that the eternal Son / Word became a human –
John 1:1; 1:14; 17:5, 1 John 1:1-4; the Father and the Son – 1 John 2:22, and therefore, the doctrine of the Trinity.
22 Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son. (the doctrine of the Messiah includes the eternal Father and Son relationship – Psalm 2:1-12 also prophesies and teaches this.)
23 Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also.
You cannot know God the Father without knowing the Son / Word Jesus the Messiah.
The Holy Spirit is there also in the document of 1 John, which I already gave the verses and proof.

No, because you leave out the surrounding verses and what the readers of 1 John already read in chapter 2.
I John 2:22 says that the issue about Jesus as the Messiah coming in the flesh is about “denying the Father and the Son”, which Islam does, which proves the exact opposite of your twisting of the Scriptures. (also Luke 1:34-35 – for this reason the holy offspring will be called the Son of God.)
Also, it tells us clearly the issue is about “the Father and the Son” ( I John 2:22) and also about the Holy Spirit (1 John 3:24; 4:13 and 5:6-8 (even without the comma Johannine)
I John 5:6-8
6 This is the One who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and with the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.
7 For there are three that testify:
8 the Spirit and the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.
The Holy Spirit (which you don’t believe in); and “the water” ( = the water of Jesus’ baptism = when the Father testified from heaven, “This is My Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Matthew 3:17; Psalm 2:7) and the Holy Spirit testified by anointing Jesus; and the blood (the atonement death of Christ on the cross) – all three testify to the truth of the Sonship, Deity, Incarnation of Jesus and the doctrine of the Trinity.

It is a silly argument because it ignores all of the rest of the verses in 1 John and it ignores the context, which clearly speak of the meaning of the Messiah – the incarnation, the eternal Son becoming a human, the relationship of “The Father and the Son” ( 1 John 2:22) and several verses on the Holy Spirit in the same book; and it ignores the other writings of the same author – John 1:1-5; 1:14; 20:28, etc.

Believing that Jesus is the Messiah المسیح is much deeper than just being able to sound out the phonetic sounds in one’s own language, don’t you agree?

But believing that Jesus is the Messiah, need not entail every false Trinitarian doctrine nor does it require the false doctrine of atonement by human blood sacrifice and resurrection etc..

But, according to the whole teaching of the book of 1 John, and John 20:30-31, believing in the Messiahship of Jesus is about those things.
“the Father and the Son” ( I John 2:22)
The incarnation (1 John 1:1-3, “word of life” who became a human (what our hands touched and eyes saw and ears heart = points back to John 1:1 and John 1:14)
and
I John 2:2 and 4:9-10 – about the atonement by blood sacrifice, etc.
The Holy Spirit (1 John 3:24; I John 4:14; I John 5:7-8, even without the “comma Johannine”, which I proved before above)

Father, Son, Savior (atonement, salvation by faith in Christ and His atonement, etc.)
“Son of God” (verse 15)
13 By this we know that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.

15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.

Now Christian cries this is call turning the tables.
Christian do this with Quran taking one statement and denying others to Proove Quran confirms the Bible.
When Quran has condems Bible in other places in fact Quran does not mentioned about mathew mark or Luke and only talk about gospel of Jesus peace be on him taking those verses Christian claims Quran confirms the Bible.
But this confirmation from Bible is enough it talk about a prophecy and for that the verses inside the prophecy is enough to evaluate the case if Jesus want to say additional to that as Ken mentioned he would have said very inside this prophecy.
