I think you need to re-read the the post, the author isn’t somehow failing to tell the difference between genitals and hair on the head but simply used that as an example to contrast with contemporary western values and the double standards when attacking muslims on their rules on modesty.
The point of the post has not been addressed by you however. What’s so wrong with it? If people wish to wear it to honor their religion what’s the big deal? As intellect wrote this is nothing new as people of other religions have these same values.

I think you are mistaken.
The post makes a clear equivalence between covering the genitals and covering the hair – are we reading the same article?
Genitals have a distinct sexual purpose – exposing them makes one think of sexual purposes. Exposing the hair should not make anyone think of sexual purposes on a mundane, day to day basis.
The article implies just that. It is completely absurd – if muslims have to resort to such absurd comparisons, then that is a pretty clear proof that the logical foundation for the practice is absurd.

Where have I said that there is anything wring with wearing a covering? I actually thin it looks cool, and in some cases increases the sexual attractiveness and interest of the woman wearing it.
You have missed the point of my objection – as I explained above, the absurd equivalence between hair and genitals illustrates just how flimsy the argument for the covering is.

Says Joel whose God came out of a vagina like goats and cow. Then Joel is so intoxicated in worshiping a creature, so his God is a hybrid creature like Hindus God cow or Cow God, Monkey God, Elephant God, Man God etc. Most of the Hindu Gods came from vagina and are hybrid like Joel God Man who is a hybrid God Man.

If Muslims were consistent with this train of thought then men would also cover their heads since the norms around genitalia apply to both sexes.

If we are to apply what you say then men should cover their breast cus women cover up that part of their body as well. You might argue back and say well men don’t have a bosom. But then what about women that have very small bosoms? Don’t they need to cover it up too?
And what about manboobs? Don’t they have to cover them up when they are taking a swim?
The covering of women’s hair and not men’s hairs is due to the fact that men have a much higher sexual attraction to women than women to men especially when we consider the visual side of sexual attraction. In other words the visual attraction of men towards women is much higher then women towards men.
That’s why magazines and commercials are mostly filled with ‘half’ naked women instead of ‘half’ naked men.

Firstly, gays are an extreme minority. Besides gay Muslim men are allowed to pray together with other men and to embrace them as brothers. Being gay does not make the brotherhood go away.
