  1. I thought about this when I came across “hate yourself” and hate everybody.

“The mighty Red Raiders. Oh yeah. Poo Poo. F***ing Baylor. F*** you, and f*** me, and f*** everybody.”

At least he said “f*** me”.

Well, this Muslims say that we to hate a lot of people for the sake of Allah. I don’t want to hate churches and other places of non-Muslim worship, but I certainly hate idols.

I don’t want to hate Christmas, but I certainly roll my eyes at it in contempt due to its historical pagan provenance.

  4. Paul, I did not know this verse until you pointed it out to me.

“If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple.” Luke, 14:26

    Thank you for informing me.

Your blog is very illuminating, all praise to God.

    Thanks again.

May my Christian brothers appreciate the wisdom in this blog and not be automatically argumentative.

May we all be open to God’s guidance to reach for the highest level of paradise.

And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.

But what did say on the Sermon on the Mount: “love your enemies”

The verse quoted from Luke 14 v 26 refers to acts of voluntary love which can be withheld without harming or causing loss to the person involved.

This is the hatred which is not against the law but is an expression of priority which is given to God first.

Mandatory acts of love are those which must be given to avoid causing loss or harm which would otherwise ensue if they were not performed.

There is a subtlety here which it would be nice if our Muslim brothers would take the trouble to explore.

    • LOL, so one’s family is actually one’s “enemies”? Christian logic strikes again!

Withholding “voluntary” acts of love is a virtue in your religion? Only “mandatory” acts of love are required, huh? But then what kind of “love” is that? It’s empty “love”, nothing more. What kind of messed up religion do you follow, madman?
