To even compare ‘Ilm al-Rasm to the canonization of the Bible(s) is to insult that science itself. They’re simply incomparable to the dismay of the Christian folk who are conjecturing on God’s revealed word and try to pass it off as God’s final revelation when they know that God’s final revelation is — by definition — preserved, intact, free from corruption.
