Its a shame the people being tortured don’t have a choice. Even more disturbing is the most popular Republican candidate (The Trump just in case you don’t know) has said on the latest debate that he would quote “a hell of a lot worse”.
Very worrying times indeed. There was a tweet i read by Lee Weissman (a Hasidic Jew who is very supportive of Muslims) which i think perfectly expresses this way of thinking. That arguing to the nafs/lower self is a very successful campaign tactic.
