let me clarify: If Jesus was God the post above would make no sense as an argument for miracles:
‘if God can create the universe out of nothing he can resurrect himself from the dead’??

Had to read the cross examined thing twice but wow…talk about self refuting.
I get the feeling they must hire Non Christians to make their images and memes

Dead do not have power to resurrect themselves. If the dead have power to resurrect themselves, there would have been people resurrecting themselves. My grandmother would have resurrected herself because she told us she enjoy this world. She can’t and no dead can resurrect himself including God if His death is sincere death but not fictitious death. According to the Bible God cannot die anyway, so to say God died for your sins should be a big lie. No where in the Bible does it says God died for any ones’ sins.
All dead cannot do anything by themselves. Robert L Stevenson’s Treasure Island is true when it said “Dead men don’t/can’t bite”.
If you tell me God fictitiously and not sincerely died for your sins, I will understand you.
Thanks.

This makes perfect sense if the materialistic world view is true. Like I said on FB if the God of the universe, in complete control of every sub-atomic particle, wanted to he could resurrect anyone at any time, create anyone or anything, and suspend death all together if he so chose to. There would be no point for the death, let alone the resurrection of Christ since in the end God would gain nothing beyond flexing his divine muscle to a bunch of hairless apes. But if the materialistic world view is not true then the Almighty God of the universe must have had another purpose in the resurrection and that was to meet us here, where we live in a world of death, with a physical miracle that met a spiritual need. Jesus himself brought many people back from the dead but was willingly sacrificed, not to impress us with his elemental mastery, but to rescue our souls from a state of perpetual death.
To say that this disproves Christianity is true, if you adhere to the materialistic worldview and you misinterpret who Jesus was and his relationship with the Father. But the meme is true in the physical sense that yes, if Genesis then why not Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

“Like I said on FB if the God of the universe … create anyone or anything, …” God cannot create a square circle. Not in this universe.

perhaps I was not clear in my post. The meme says there is one being, God, who raised another being, Jesus, from the dead. As there is only one God and His action pertained to another (Jesus) – Jesus is not God. So even though the meme sought to prove the possibility of the miraculous it clearly assumed that Jesus is not God and therefore Christianity is false.

For sure Almighty God cannot and will not create married-bachelor on this universe and cannot create 3 Persons/persons i.e. 3 Beings/beings 1 Being(God-Divine being) on this universe, that is why Jesus said “Hear O Israel, The Lord our God is One God”. If God can create Gods like him why did He continuously made it clear to us that He(God) is One and is a Jealous God?
God to meet us all here? where? On this earth? My friend, God is always with us since the time He created us and since the time of Abraham, Adam, Moses etc. He(God) does not need to meet us all here(earth) because He does not need to because He(God) is always with us everyday.
You are making a God a discriminated God by believing He revealed Himself as a male but not female middle eastern and later turned Himself into a blue eyed white man depicted by most pictures of Jesus Christ.
Rastafarians answered back with their black man incarnated God of his imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selaissie I the First of Ethiopia and a the conqueror of the Lion of Judah.
Indians have their incarnated God in the form of Sai Baba who is to meet us here, where we live in a world of death as you suggested with a physical miracle….. But the Bible said clearly God is One, Only and Alone, so all of your incarnations including Jesus Christ is false and not true at all.

I say;
Jesus brought the dead back to life, but the dead did not come back to life by themselves and it means a dead cannot come back to life by himself. In the Bible God is immortal and cannot die in the first place so that just like any sincere death would not be able to bring Himself back to life. Jesus did not willingly sacrificed himself which will be considered suicide and human sacrifice and is against the Bible and Jesus instead was sent by someone(God) and God is One so, Jesus is not God and because Jesus did not willingly sacrificed himself, he cried to be saved by God. The disciples were not happy and surprised about the death and resurrection. If that(Jesus death and resurrection) is what Jesus taught, his disciples would not have been surprised about the death and resurrection.
Besides 3 Persons or Beings 1 God, God-Man, Hypostasis, etc. are not in the Bible at all but God is One, Only and Alone is clearly in the Bible in so many places the later is to be worshiped not the former.
Thanks

1st of all the argument doesn’t refute Christianity. If anything it refutes one doctrine of Christianity which is the trinity. The trinity doesn’t represent Christianity, there is more to it than that.
Secondly, if Christianity is false then Islam is false since the Quran acknowledges and confirms the religions of the people of the book and confirms their scriptures.

Islam teaches that the original scriptures given to Jews and Christians have been altered and corrupted. Even so, they still contain some of the original teaching from God.
