Why are Jews permitted to pray inside a mosque but forbidden to even step inside a church?

  1. Rabbi Singer holds to particular views that are not always shared by others. I know people who are okay with praying in churches.

  2. I can’t give you a rundown of every person’s feelings, but I can tell you that he doesn’t speak for everyone, even Orthodox Jews. Nobody ever does. This article mentions a couple times when Rabbi dissented with the view that Jews shouldn’t pray in a church (http://www.myjewishlearning.com/article/ask-the-expert-jews-in-church/2/). I personally won’t go into a church but its for a number of reasons, and I make an exception for weddings.
