I generally find Catholics act more tolerant towards Muslims than the evangelicals online (especially the American evangelicals).
Although, in real life I know many Protestants who have been really supportive of Muslims in the UK and were part of the fight against the intolerant minority who who opposed immigrants in the 70s and 80s.
Our thanks goes out to those Protestant Christians who, without whom, the parents of many Muslims born in the UK would have found life much more difficult when they arrived to work as economic migrants (or should I say ex-pats :)).
