This is the same message of Islam that Jesus preached (see parable of the Sheep and Goats Matt. 25:31-46). In that Parable, Jesus says nothing about believing that he died for our sins or that we must worship him as God. Indeed we need not even “know him” in order to achieve salvation.
What he says in that parable is that in order to inherit the Kingdom which has been prepared by God for the believers in the Unitarian God, we need only live righteous lives doing the good and charitable works.
If one truly believes in Jesus then one will follow him wherever he leads……
