  1. It is indeed so appropriate that God arranged for the last Prophet to have the name meaning “Praised One”

So apt considering that so many thousands of other names could have been used that would not have the connotive aspects of praise which are that it can be applied to many aspects….his worship of God, his submission to God, his love of God, his fear of God, his contemplation of God, his justice, his kindness, his wisdom, him as a great family person, as a great administrator, etc.

Can there be any name that could have been better than Muhammad?

    • I thought the post was bout Allah’s name, not Muhammad’s. And Allah should be praised more than Muhammad

    • When I read the heading, I thought it was about God too, but the Arabic is Muhammad. So it refers to how this name is special among humans and how the Prophet and how all Prophets are special (may God’s peace be upon them all).

According to the Qur’an and according to the goodness in our hearts, Allah should surely be praised above Muhammad (may God’s peace be upon him). Allah should be literally be praised infinitely more than His prophet and more than any of his creatures or prophets in any universe now or in the future or past.

Of course we don’t have the ability to praise infinitely, but Allah (God) deserves infinite praise.
