Notorious hate preacher Sam Shamoun
I have decided to ban Sam Shamoun from the blog. He just posted a sick comment that attempted to justify his evil behaviour:
‘it is simply not true that mocking and insulting one’s opponent is unbiblical or unchristian.’
He believes that slandering and insulting other people, their faith, and the prophet Muhammad (upon whom be peace), is acceptable behaviour. It is not.
The charitable explanation is that Sam has an unpleasant psychiatric condition rendering him less culpable for his evil behaviour.
Otherwise, I would suggest that he has been radicalised by his own fundamentalist polemic against Islam and Muslims. He is the mirror image of Anjem Choudary, perhaps even more extreme than him (which is saying something!) Sam is truly a deranged extremist, with much in common with KKK and American neo-Nazis hate speech as well.

From my own studies in Christian ethics I know that Christian morality is a noble and enlightened way of life.
Finally, a friend commented today:
‘I think what Shamoun hates the most is being ignored as a nobody. Attention from others is his life source.’
So his voice will not be heard from now on on Blogging Theology.

Compare the demeanor of Shamoun, an uneducated piece of shit still stuck on medieval polemics, with that of Prof.Gabriel Reynolds who IS a scholar of Islamic studies. This is what the latter has to say: ‘Christians have a special obligation to recognize and appreciate the positive spiritual and moral values of Islam. ‘

I genuinely want Robert Wells to answer my question. What is Prof.Reynolds lacking in his knowledge of Islam, compared to Sam Shamoun and his buddy Wood, that leads him to see that there is good in the religion?

the real reason you blocked him is because you Hate what has to say defending christ and the gospel which YOU Reject, since you try to destroy the gospel which your own prophet said to follow, you HATE god by your own islamic definition because god in your view of thre quran said to follow jesus and the gospel

Brian – Sam is blocked for the reason I clearly stated above:

For your information I always try to defend the true gospel that the historical Jesus preached (which btw was not about himself but God) – I certainly do criticise the religion about Jesus that Paul invented and you and others tragically follow.
The Quran rejects as false key beliefs of this man-made faith: the divinity of Jesus and his alleged crucifixion. It hardly endorses them lol.
