1 Peter 1:3 praises the God of Jesus Christ ie Jesus has a God.
Likewise in these often overlooked verses:
Ephesians 1:3 – Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
1 Corinthians 1:3 – Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Blogging Theology 
I was just about to say there are other NT letters that say something similar but just realised you’ve mentioned a few already in the overlooked verse part. This is why I like to follow in the footsteps of Isaac Newton and others like him.
2 Corinthians 1:3 and Colossians 1:3 are also similar. By the way I just noticed how they all parallel each other at verse 3. 1 Peter 1:3, Ephesians 1:3, 1 and 2 Corinthians 1:3, Colossians 1:3… Lol
