Interesting question – do the Muslim bruvs reading this post consider 12-13 years of age too young to be married and too young for intercourse?
It is worth noting also that if Mary was 12-13, she was a virgin and some maintain that she remained a virgin, so the issue of consummating her marriage at a young age doesn’t come up.
What do you say? Is 12-13 years of age too young to consummate marriage?

Islam said when a woman reaches puberty age. Marrying younger women was done by all religions until in the late 1900’s when the west and some secular societies cut the age limit to 16,17,18…………….
Then Christians like Sam Shamoun who do not have a certificate in both Christianity or Islam, started to use the modern standards to our prophet alone. And we countered to Christians like him that no one at the our prophets time accused him of marrying his young wife including Christians and Jews because they also marry young women.
The post above is for those who use the modern standard age to accuse others. If they use the modern standard of age to accuse others’ then Christianity and who ever impregnated Mary by coming down as God and impregnating her with overshadowing her with his holy sprit must be blamed as well.
