As someone who has known Steven Martins for over four years and considers him a close friend, I am absolutely appalled that anyone would stoop this low. Steven is one of the most gentle, respectful and open-minded individuals I have ever met, and for anyone to take a soundbite out of context to portray him as the total opposite to me displays a desire to assassinate people’s characters regardless of what kind of person they really are. Honestly as someone from a middle eastern background i have no idea what James White is talking about.
The first problem is when he says “Middle eastern peoples” Really? I hope this man knows there is quite a big difference between people from the middle east. Persians are very different people from arabs. Kurds are little closer to persians but quite different from arabs, especially kurds from turkish and syrian regions. Turkish people are a mix of middle eastern and balkans. Israelis are one of their own kind (did James also include israelis in his generalisations?). Assyrians are also one of their own kind.
I can only speak for kurdish, persian and Assyrian peoples who togheter make up around 120 million people of the middle east.
I have never observed amongst these peoples that they find the one who shouts more to be more convincing. They do understand when someone speaks rubbish. Even when that person is shouting.

I agree with pointierfrance here – not just Iranians and Kurds, but there are soft spoken Arabs also – there are all types in all cultures. Also, there are some Arabs who are soft-spoken and more into logic than shouting and passion – I have a friend from Syria (former Muslim) who is very logical and soft spoken; and I have an Iranian friend whose father is Iraqi and mother Iranian, a brother whose father is Iraqi who is very soft also – his Iranian wife was louder and “stronger” in personality than he was. “strength” though can be subjective; sometimes it is a greater display of strength to be quiet and let something go, and not even respond. There are all kinds of people and personalities in all cultures. I also know Arabs and Iranians who are loud and more emotional when the argue; but there are others who are calm and logical, etc.
Most Iranians love poetry; but I have met a few that don’t like poetry and feeling based things; they prefer math and science and logic, etc. One of my Iranian friends told me he thought poetry and passion-based thought was useless, and that he preferred math, science, and logic.
Dr. White was referring to Walid Shoebat and his loudness and style of bombast in his writing. It is ironic that Yahya would use that – because Dr. White was actually defending Muslims as a whole and coming against Shoebat’s style and bombast and calling for Crusades again. There are another bombastic Donald Trump style people too; but Trump is western and he is loud and bombastic, so it works both ways.
I agree that we should be careful – “it seems”; or “in my experience” or “the ones who get the attention”, are some good qualifiers.

Jay seems to be speaking from his experience at Speaker’s Corner. Apparently, the soft-spoken middle easterners don’t go to speaker’s corner or by nature, don’t do any shouting, etc. so naturally, he doesn’t encounter those kind of middle easterners.

I have never met Jay Smith. I can only comment based on his videos where the camera captures his interactions with muslims, they seem to be mostly of pakistani backround. I don’t recall if i have seen many arabs in his audience, if someone can confirm that.
However, i have noticed that muslim youth (and most are not particarly religious) born and raised in the west tend to belong to a subculture that neither remembles mainstream western culture or mainstream Pakistani/Arab culture. Those youth unfortenantly seems to feel a little lost and suffer from identity crisis. Their mentality is it seems shaped by external factors such as this. Although i have never seen adult arab or Pakistani men belong to any subculture in the west, even amongst them i have sometimes observed the same sense of rancour against the west and what they perceive to be an attack on their identity.
I believe with that mentality in combination with someone like Jay Smith you have the perfect ingridient for those portion of muslims feeling under attack and feel they have to shout against Christian preachers like Jay, (i may safely assume those segment of muslims are not particarly immersed in biblical or islamic scholarship to make any substantive arguments anyway).
To turn around and say this is a “cultural” thing on Jay’s part based on this segment of people more shaped by their own particular circumstances than any mainstream culture is quite dishonest.
Please note i do not agree with those segment of muslims who think their so called identity crisis give them a right to hate mainstream western culture.

Obviosuly as you pointed out in every culture you have loud mouthed people and there are of course people from the middle east that think shouting gives credibility to your position.
However what struck me about James and Jay smith is that they said “it seems to be a cultural thing”, as if the culture somehow encouraged or even accepted such behaviour.
As both you and i have pointed out this is not true. Especially when we keep in mind that the etnicities in the middle east are different from each other.
Arabs from the levant and Gulf regions are the ones most similar to each other in culture.

I have witnessed Smith countless times at Speakers Corner and he is universally detested by Muslims there. Why? Because like Sam Shamoun he deliberately sets out to insult and malign Islam, the prophet Muhammad and Muslims. He is unfair, extreme, and provocative – in a word a nasty fundamentalist demagogue. I am surprised the Home Secretary has not deported him from our country.
I am not aware of a single Muslim who has ever converted to Smith’s religion in all the years he has been attacking Islam.
As a missionary he is a colossal failure. But the good news is that this foreigner and hate preacher will be leaving these islands soon and going back to where he belongs: the USA.

Part of this is the nature of speaker’s corner and the necessity of speaking loud and shouting when there is no microphone and everyone is outdoors. I have seen and heard you (Paul Williams) shouting back at the speakers also. (you put them up at your blogs here in the past) – it is just the necessity of speaking loud because of the nature of the venue.

Yes, I condemn Christians who insult and use name calling, ad hominem arguments. I disagree with Sam S. when he does that and I have told him so. He discredited his otherwise good content (when he stays on content and reasonable argumentation without bombast and insults, etc.) by getting angry and using wrong methods and then defended it by quoting from the Bible when a prophet or apostle called someone a heretic or false teachers.
But I have never seen Jay do what Sam Shamoun does. (react in anger and use potty language, etc.)

The Hadith can be true or false and if it is true, it did not insult any black but just saying that obey your ruler who ever he is.
The most important dialog is who God is? Trinity is not from God because it is not in the Bible.
Wood is so stupid not know Prophet Jesus called a woman dog and clearly makes Jesus more racist than Prophet Mohammed.
The real dialog must be who God is and why the Trinity is not in the Bible but not pulling verses and attacking other and later hit back hard to the attacker.
A serious Christian will not use this attack by David Wood. Most Christian clergy are now coming out against such silly attacks. We do not believe on all hadiths anyway and this hadith is just saying anyone who is your ruler must be respected.
Arabs, English, Americans, etc. always have some people in them who looks down upon other people and it is no secret and if it is so, the prophet is telling his people even those people you look down upon can be your rulers and you must respect them. What is wrong with this? Other than a good prophet advice to people who look down upon others.
It is only David Wood who has no analytical skills and thinking capabilities who will waste people’s time on this. This is waste of time with due respect to the one who posted it here. We are thinking about who God said He is and not this uncritical thinking post.

” Narrated Abu Huraira: A black man or a black woman used to sweep the mosque and he or she died. The Prophet (ﷺ) asked about her (or him). He was told that she (or he) had died. “It was narrated from Abdullah bin Amr that: The Prophet said: “Do not marry women for their beauty for it may lead to their doom. This is the Islamic view on race. It is not your color or your ethnicity that makes you better. It is your piety in the service of Allah (swt), who created us all.
In contrast, the Bible refers to Gentiles as “dogs”, which obviously so offended Luke that he did not include the story in his “gospel” to Theophilus and other Roman Gentiles.

The Ahadith you quoted again shows your stupidity. There is ignorant and then there is stupid, and you’re both unfortunately. Those ahadith state that since dog saliva is impure, it is not allowed to have them as pets. However, one is still allowed to keep them for other reasons, such as hunting. Furthermore, in spite of their impure status, a Muslim must still be kind to dogs, as well as all other animals. There are several ahadith to that effect, but of course, we wouldn’t expect a dumbbell Gentile like you to know any better. Also, we wouldn’t expect your pagan mentors to tell you that either.
And since we are on the topic of animals, perhaps you can enlighten us on the following verse from the Bible:
“The rabbit, though it chews the cud, does not have a divided hoof; it is unclean for you.” (Leviticus 11:16)

Now back to the Hadith. The translators might translate “dirt” to confuse unintellectual people like you who do not want research and be sincere in learning Islam at the appropriate place before attacking Islam.
In our prophets time, there was no washing detergent as we have it today, so it is “sand” that is used to wash or clean dishes. It said when a sand is used to clean a dish once, it can be done multiple times to take all the impurities and bacteria at that time because there was no antibacterial dish washing soap them.
The Arabs used sand to clean and wash their dishes and if you do not learn well enough you might think the hadith said “dirt” has to be used to clean dirt. That is not the way but “sand” at that time is used to clean dirt especially from bowls and if you clean it several times with sand the bowl will likely be a bacteria free and that is the science from our prophet when there was no anti bacteria at that time.
Because sand makes things dirty, some people think it is dirt. Pure sand is not dirt and that is what the Arabs used to clean their bowls and the more you clean the more it is likely you will remove “dirt” or “bacteria” from the bowl.
Do bring the things you childishly thinks it is against Islam, and we will InshaAllah have the opportunity to educate you about our religion and to correct the sinful nature of David Wood and Co.

I forgot to add, today in some parts of the world, people still use sand to clean their bowls. Because sand can make your cloth and other things dirty, some people call it dirt. You can use that sand to clean your bowl several times by scrubbing it and your bowl will be bacteria free. This is science from our prophet but people like David Wood who has no brain will not analyse this and see its importance to people that time and even today.
If David Wood do not want to use or buy anti bacteria detergent, he can simply find pure sand which some people may call dirt to clean his bowl several times and it will be free from bacteria.

It is mandatory for dog owners in any advanced country today to be sending their dogs for rabies tests together with a host of fatal diseases caused by dogs. The people of our prophet time do not have anti rabies vaccine and tests, so our God revealed to our prophet how they can keep dogs for hunting but careful with the other side effects the dog may have and they might not know.
Using a pure sand to scrub a bowl and another sand to scrub the bowl several times can make your bowl bacteria free. Morons like David Wood will not think about this or ask or analyse and have a critical thinking about that because they are actually fools, stupid and idiots, they just copy the English translations and think they are insulting Islam, and some brainless people are copying them. The key point here is – listen and obey your ruler ; even though he is black and I suppose ugly. Where is the racism here? A racist is a person who has no respect for another just because of the person’s skin colour. In this case Prophet Muhammad(saw) is telling his followers to obey their leader regardless of the person’s skin colour and his appearance.
Nobody can fathom just how you manage to come to the understanding that Prophet Muhammad(saw) was a racist from the 3 hadiths. If you ask me , only a racist or bigot would come to an understanding that the 3 hadiths means Prophet Muhammad(saw) was a racist.

Thanks. We, Muslims who are about 89% non-Arabs are advised to know our religion in Arabic which is the original revealed language.
All Islamic scholars, including locals and international, will have Arabic in their lists of language and you can see it when white people, black people, Chinese, Koreans etc. are memorizing the Quran and understanding Arabic.
Those who are not scholars are encouraged to be attending tafsirs and to ask questions. I remembered questions being asked about the dog and most scholars explained it the way I explained.
David Wood cannot speak Aramaic, Hebrew, Latin and Greek. He will spend his time pulling verses from Islamic sources in English without asking the tafsir of it and just start attacking, instead of learning his religion well like all Muslim scholars have Arabic language at their grasp.

Dogs can be culled when there is rabies outbreak and/or other dangerous disease transferable to man, it obviously will make them unclean. There was no scientific proof to know rabies at that time and it is not our prophet who is the first to order dogs be culled if the hadith is true, but Christians have ordered dogs to be culled as well.
Some of the hadith you have been cut and pasting can not be true or we can only accept it in the light of the Quran so save us time and research yourself any cut and paste you may do. Sam Shamoun has done what

As you can see, the order was to kill dogs which were a nuisance or dangerous to people. Any dog which was a potential danger was to be killed. But other dogs, which were not a threat, were allowed to live. What’s wrong with that? Even in western countries, dogs are routinely put down after they attack a person. “Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab that Umar ibn al- Khattab told people to kill snakes in the Haram. Malik said, about the “wild dogs” which people were told to kill in the Haram, that any animals that wounded, attacked, or terrorised men, such as lions, leopards, Iynxes and wolves, were counted as”wild dogs.” However, someone who was in ihram should not kill beasts of prey that did not attack (people), such as hyenas, foxes, cats and anything else like them, and if he did then he had to pay a forfeit for it. Similarly, someone in ihram should not kill any predatory birds except the kinds that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, specified, namely crows and kites. If someone in ihram killed any other kind of bird he had to pay a forfeit for it. ”
So unless an animal was dangerous to humans, it was not allowed to kill it.

Intellect, the hadith is accurate. There are several sahih ahadith form Bukhari and Muslim that state that the Prophet (pbuh) ordered the killing of dogs and other animals that were dangerous to people. It’s not contradictory at all there must be some reason the Prophet ordered killing of dogs in a particular region but in general this Prophet saying applies:BE KIND TO ALL ANIMALS INCLUDING DOGS: Sahih Bukhari Volume 3, Book 40, Number 551:Narrated Abu Huraira:Allah’s Apostle said, “While a man was walking he felt thirsty and went down a well and drank water from it. On coming out of it, he saw a dog panting and eating mud because of excessive thirst. The man said, ‘This (dog) is suffering from the same problem as that of mine. So he (went down the well), filled his shoe with water, caught hold of it with his teeth and climbed up and watered the dog. Allah thanked him for his (good) deed and forgave him.” The people asked, “O Allah’s Apostle! Is there a reward for us in serving (the) animals?” He replied, “Yes, there is a reward for serving any animate.”

Some non aggressive dogs can have rabies and other dangerous diseases that is transferable to man and create epidemic and mass death to human beings. If you had taken the time with your brain to do little bit of research and read all the links I sent to you, you will realize that it is not only our prophet who ordered the killing of ALL dogs but Christians and other people as well ordered the killings of ALL dogs and is still doing it today.
That is why there are organizations to try to stop the killing of ALL dogs now but instead to kill the ones with diseases. Our prophet did not have anti rabies vaccine or test and it is only a fool who will expect him(our prophet) to leave a single dog in his city without a proper diagnosis.

You started your un-researched attack copied from some Islam haters site with;
1. False claim the prophet insulted blacks.
-We corrected you in that it is rather the opposite, the prophet asks the Arabs to respect the blacks they look down upon because they can be their rulers
2. You changed topic to dirt washing dirt, again an Islam hater will not pause a second to think, research or analyse a little bit before copying and pasting when attacking Islam thinking the material he got is bad without repairs.
-We corrected you in that the Arabs used to use pure sand to scrub their pans several times to make it clean and it can make bowls bacteria free. Today, some people living in other parts of the world still use pure sand to clean their utensils and I am not a prisoner like you in the USA or Germany who never travelled because I swear, I saw people using pure sand to clean their bowls and after that it is clean and bacteria free.
That is why the prophet is talking about, when a dog licks your bowl as they do till today you can use anti bacteria soup to wash it, but those days the prophet said use sand and clean it several times because you do not know the bacteria that will infect you and it could be rabies or other deadly bacteria that dog may have.
Today, it is mandatory to be sending your dogs for check-ups. All these were not there in the ancient times and so make sure you use sand to clean you bowl well to disinfect any bacteria it may contain. What is wrong with that? A brainless fellow will find something wrong and keep repeating it.
3. You shifted the goal post to dogs. The Bible hate dogs, pigs, rabbits etc. and call them unclean and you do not find anything wrong with that but keep repeating Dogs, Dogs, Dogs despite the corrections, refutation and researched link provided to you.
You keep barking Dogs, Dogs, Dogs. Are you Dog? As Jesus said you are Dog because you not a Jew.

You want to shift the goal post from Dogs to caravans again. I will pre-empt your shifting bigotry and tell you that the caravan issue was discussed here and elsewhere thoroughly.
The Meccan’s did not allow the Muslims to leave Mecca to Medina in peace except they torture them(Muslims), confiscate their properties, Jewellery and gold and sometimes their wives and children. The Muslims after settling in Medina want their property back from the Quraish and will try to seize their caravan to make way for their properties as was done between rival Arab tribes at that time.
You sound new to this blog. If you are new, then I will not blame your ignorance, otherwise, I will say where is your brain? because all these were discussed here and elsewhere thoroughly and most Christians have stopped using them.

I have dealt with these Islam haters like Sam Shamoun and Radical Moderate here, and I bet they are not nice guys like you. They are stubborn in repeating their lies. I do have time and keep correcting them till they stop.
I work while blogging so it will not affect me at all. They know about the lies and will repeat it and if you keep correcting them, they will give up and the readers will know the truth. If you do not correct them, then they will start to pile lies upon lies.
If you noticed the pattern of Mark, which is typical of all Islam haters, they have a database of so many stories, usually from hadiths they think is negative against Islam and will start to copy and paste them as Sam Shamoun always does to get his pay from Christians who want that.
When we correct them, they will either repeat the same thing or retrieve another record from their database of lies.
Notice the pattern Mark started with i.r blacks, to dirt, to dogs and finally to caravan and I knew their modus operandi and I have pre-empted him with regards to the caravan. The next might be Ayesha(RA), he is violent etc. without any research, analysis and searching for truth.
Thanks for you suggestion and we appreciate it but some people really hate Muslims and Islam especially supporters of Ben Carson, Newt Gingrich, Donald Trump etc. and most republic candidates have to insult Muslims and their religion before their polls goes high. Islamophobia is real and Dr. James White and most Christians acknowledges that, so we have to do the little we are doing to try to balance some issues.

Once again, you only partially quoted another hadith…or should I say, you blindly copied your fellow idiots Wood et al. Here is the hadith in its entirety:
“Narrated Al-Bara: The Prophet said to Hassan, “Abuse them (with your poems), and Gabriel is with you (i.e, supports you).” (Through another group of sub narrators) Al-Bara bin Azib said, “On the day of Quraiza’s (besiege), Allah’s Apostle said to Hassan bin Thabit, ‘Abuse them (with your poems), and Gabriel is with you (i.e. supports you).'””
As you can see, this hadith is referring to the specific instance of the siege of the Bani Qurayza, after they violated their treaty with the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
It seems Canis markus enjoys being embarrassed over and over again. And it is now painfully obvious that he is a consistent liar. That is very petty, even for one of Satan’s Gentile dogs. Woof, woof!

Why not be concerned about all these Christians abuse of Muslims imitating Jesus Christ? but only concern about “Abuse them” which is an incomplete statement.
Well, be concern about the complete statement by Jesus said above which is from the Bible and it is disturbing.

Prophet Mohammed never said “Abuse them” which is an incomplete statement and you are using such lies against Islam and woe unto you. Prophet Mohammed never uttered incomplete statement “Abuse them”.
Paul Williams has warned you to refrain from such lies because one can use that and say the Bible said “there is no God” which is an incomplete statement and therefore atheists can use it and say the Bible said there is no God.
