A friend of mine made these comments on Adam’s tweet (published here with permission):
It seems a requirement for people at Quillium to be deliberately provocative.
Some of the points Adam raises are important but they should be put across with class and dignity and honesty. He just doesn’t seem to be able to accept that for all its faults, Puritanism isn’t generally the cause of violence for instance.
Adam’s post there was dumb. Segregation when praying isn’t really puritanical. Even from a secular perspective it makes sense. Fit girls attract boys and vice versa! If I saw my now wife whilst praying I might have been distracted it’s only natural!

^I think there must have been some misunderstanding as Adam said ‘beyond’ prayer not ‘in prayer,’ but the first point is definitely valid.
