Extraordinary news has reached me at Blogging Theology that Sam Shamoun is in confidential discussions with Dr Shabir Ally about converting to Islam!
This is not totally beyond belief as some of the most violent opponents of the Prophet Muhammad eventually saw the truth and repented of their rejection of God and His prophet.
We wish Sam every blessing as he takes his first tentative steps towards becoming a Muslim. In saying the Shahada a new Muslim is washed clean of all his past sins. He can be assured of a very warm welcome by Muslims.

Are you serious? I hope and pray it is true. Most early Muslims persecuted and killed Muslims before converting to Islam. Abubakar was on his way to kill the prophet when he converted to Islam. madmanna, did not convert to Islam yet, but told me here on this blog that, I God is 1 and possesses all His attributes, then no PERSON can possess His(God’s) all God’s attribute again. I remember madmanna told me “sad for the day”. What sad madmanna? Sam Shamoun is not the only liar we talk about. We talk about Jay Smith, James White, Nabeel Quraish, David Wood etc. We counter their lies everyday. IT IS NOT ONLY SAM SHAMOUN WE TALK ABOUT. GET IT RIGHT. For the past months Nabeel Quraish, James White and Jonathan M. were the center of attack not Sam Shamoun.
Allah is a name Jewish and Christian Arabs use to call their God and you are saying Arabs and Jewish Christian God is Satan. For sure Sam Shamoun has now start to respect Allah and he does not say what you are saying because we corrected him.
In the Quran, before we do anything we have to seek refuge with the God of Abraham against satan the curse one. The Quran always warns us not to do bad things under the influence of Satan but seek refuge with the God of Abraham.
If someone say he is worshiping the unseen God of Abraham who is one, only and alone and that persons language calls the God of Abraham G. I will not be fool to insult G as you are doing here.

Well actually, what it shows is that some Muslims fell for the joke, which was made by another Muslim. It also shows that most Muslims are willing to welcome even such a vIle person as Shamoun if he were to mend his ways.
