Putting aside the false comparison and assuming for arguments sake that all things were equal in your comparison. It would be terrorism and criminal if the US or any “resistance” to a “foreign” occupation used the same tactics as Palestinian terrorist.
Below are a few examples that are well documented.
1. Teaching their children for generations that they are only good for dying. That the only hope they and their family have for a better “future” is to die in the act of committing mass murder. Teaching them that if they blow themselves up on a bus, coffee shop, night club etc.. Killing innocent people they will go to heaven get 72 virgins (if they’re males) and be allowed to take so many friends and family with them straight into allahs paradise.
2. Teaching their small children through the use of cartoons, and mascots to violently hate not just the occupation soldiers but an entire race of people.
3. Deliberately destroying your own infrastructure or deliberately not repairing your own infrastructure so your people can suffer and blame the occupiers.
4. Firing unguided rockets that have no strategic or tactical significance
5. into civilian populations, knowing that the consequences of those actions will be massive retaliation against your own people, leading to the deaths of thousands of your own civilian populations with no tactical or strategic gain for your side.
6. Going around stabbing random people
I could go on but that’s enough for now.

The question is, what is the amount of time that when you take and occupy someone else’s land before it becomes “yours”?
This is significant because most of N. Africa and the Middle East was stolen from non-Muslims and could be viewed as illegally occupied land.

No, don’t be silly. I’m arguing for live and let live – Muslims stole almost all of the land they now occupy and no one demands that they return it. Muslims should return the favour. There is plenty of land available in the the Arab world where Palestinians could be comfortably resettled, but, hypocritically, few Arab countries want Palestinians around.
The awkward fact is that other Arab countries treat Palestinians as bad if not worse than the Israelis treat them. In Lebanon there are obscene restrictions placed on them – like being barred from most major professions like medicine, law and engineering. Furthermore, Palestinians have been expelled en masse from several Arab countries – the largest being around 200,00 being expelled from Kuwait because the PLO supported Saddam’s invasion.
Clearly, the fate and welfare of Palestinians does not concern Muslims and the issue would have been resolved by now if Islam was not inherently anti-Jew.

But this is all irrelevant anyway. None of this changes the fact that Israel has stolen and occupied Palestinian land, using intimidation and ethnic cleansing. If you knew even a little bit of the history, you would know of Jewish terrorist groups like the Irgun and the Stern Gang, which used violence to ethnically cleanse Palestine before the founding of Israel. I can give you a couple of links to blogs that were created by a Canadian friend of mine (a non-Muslim) who has actually been to the West Bank and has personally witnessed the oppression of the Palestinians at the hands of the IDF and extremist settlers. He even was on the receiving end of their violence. In one incident, he was actually assaulted and had his nose broken.

But for the most part, Muslim lands became Muslim because they were stolen and the people living there were horribly oppressed. Coming back to the issue, it is true that some Arab states have been guilty of mistreating the Palestinians, but this is often the result of political tensions with the PLO. According to Vivienne Chew of Denver University:

Allah only forbids you from those who fight you because of religion and expel you from your homes and aid in your expulsion – He forbids that you make allies of them; and whoever makes allies of them, then it is those who are the wrongdoers.

4. “…the Prophet, peace be upon him, was careful to behave well towards the Jews, known in the Quran as the “People of the Book,” a title which honors their belief in Moses. مُخَيْرِيقُ سَابِقُ يَهُودَ
Mukhayriq is the foremost among the Jews.
[Ibn Shabbah, Ta’reekh Al-Madinah 467]
In another narration, the Prophet said:
مُخَيْرِيقٌ خَيْرُ يَهُودَ
Mukhayriq was the best of the Jews.
[Ibn Sa’d, Tabaqat Al-Kubra 1535]”
6. “Following the Prophet’s example, the companions were eager to behave well with their Jewish neighbors, as this is a great way of seeking reward from Allah. Mujahid reported:

No. That is not how we understand it and that is not what we were taught in Islamic schools. When we attend Islamic schools, we were taught there is the end of times when devil will set free and some people will abandon their religion and follow him including Muslims and Jews.
There are Haith’s that talked about some Muslims following that devil and so are Jews and other people. The Hadith is talking about the Jews that follow the devil at the end times and not all Jews. There is Hadith that talk of some Muslims from Saudi Arabia following the devil as well and they are dangerous and must be resisted.

So, all it is saying is that some Jews among the Children of Israel were turned into “apes” for breaking the Sabbath. The verse is referring to the sinful Israelites, not the ones that fulfilled the law.
