Perhaps John Cleese needs reacquaint himself with Jesus’s teaching in the gospels

John Cleese could start by reading about the dangers of sexual immorality in the Sermon on the Mount, then he might read Mark 10 on marriage and divorce, then read the story of the woman caught in adultery…

  1. A better question would be why any one set of religious beliefs should be used as justification for interference in other people’s lives, which I imagine is what Mr Cleese was alluding to.
