Some thoughts today about the video fest that came out of the debate last Sunday at Speakers Corner between Mansur, myself and Jonathan.
Yes, some good points were made in the debate. Mansur is a clever guy and he caught Jonathan out. But I think it has since turned into an ad hominem crusade against Jonathan and other Christians. A huge number of videos have been made and admittedly I have posted many of them on this blog. But now I’ve put most of them on private. I have a gut feeling that enough is enough. The point has been made. Personal attacks involving Muslims and Christians have escalated.
Can I suggest we all just move on?

Blogging Theology 
Although it does not need to be said, but our Christian brothers and sisters should know that everything we produce and publish is not meant to be personal. Sometimes our interactions can be misconstrued as being about personalities rather than about theology.
The end goal, is and, has always been about theology.
I pray and hope that our Christian brothers and sisters can likewise de-escalate the current climate and focus on the theology, rather than the personalities.

Agreed. A much needed voice of moderation. Great stuff.
I think at times many folk involved in these interactions get caught up in the microcosm internet tussles and judgement is affected due to the blinkers.

Paul funny you come up with this now as the full dis-closer about you and Mansor Manure comes to light.
But I guess this is as close to an admission of wrong doing as we will ever get from a Muslim.

Please do not refer to Mansoor as “Mansor Manure”. Such talk is ill-befitting of a Christian.
Also, this post went up before my video on the many errors of Paul and Mansoor, so there is no connection.

That’s actually constructive – although it doesn’t change the fact that Mclatchie owns you badly in it! LOL!!!
But, yes, shorter videos of Paul and his co-cultists getting owned prolongs the agony over days and weeks.
