I challenge Ismaa’eel Abu Adam to a public debate.

Ismaa’eel Abu Adam’s new friends at Acts17Apologetics have produced this short video announcing that he has converted to Christianity and is now a “Christian apologist”. Therefore I challenge ‘Ismaa’eel Abu Adam’ – whose real name is actually Neil Littlejohn – to a public debate:

Was Jesus God or a prophet of God?

As he is now an official Christian apologist I hope he accepts my challenge. I can be contacted via email at this blog. Lets get it together!

    • LOL Sam, you are SO DESPERATE to debate me! Yet I have rejected your offer literally dozens of times. But you never take no for a answer.

For any new visitors to this blog who many not know why I will not debate him, here are the reasons (again):

      1) Sam is an extremist Islamphobe who spews vile, sick, and frankly evil lies about Islam and Muslims.

      2) He is intolerant of fellow Christians who disagree with him. He has viciously abused serval Christians I know.

      3) Every Muslim I know personally or have heard of has decided to have nothing to do with Sam. Even mild-mannered and extremely tolerant Dr Shabir Ally refuses to have anything to do with him anymore – which believe me is saying something!

      4) At the heart of the matter is the deeply offensive manner in which Sam conducts himself. I have not come across a more unChristlike Christian. Unless and until he changes, no one will touch him.

I hope this is crystal clear.

However I do challenge Ismaa’eel Abu Adam to a public debate. He has not yet become Shamoun-like in his attitudes. I pray he never will.

Like I said, stop your silly nonsense and ad hominems since we both know the REAL reason why you won’t debate me. You are scared since you know what I will do to you and your religion in a public debate.

Time to man up and stop going after people that you know need more time to learn their faith. Just like you, you are too afraid to debate ANY TOPIC on Islam since your lame excuse is that you don’t know enough about your deen EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE BEEN A MUHAMMADAN FOR OVER A DECADE!

    • Isaiah chapter 60. This chapter talks about Makka. The word “Nations” in 2nd verse refers to Muslims from countries around the world who come every year to do pilgrimage, including kings(verse3). Verse 5 Makkah has an important fund raising because of Hajj. Verse 6 : the abundance of camels and dromedaries of Midian(actually Jordan) Ephan, all they from Sheba( Yemen), and Muslims brings gold and frankincense for alms. Verse 7 all folks of Kedar( son of Ishmael: the father of Arabs) shall be ghatered together to you, the rest of this verse like verse 11 talks about the sacrifice of Eid Al- adha. The Zion (mountain in old Hebrew) refer to the Arafat mountain where millions of piligrims stand in the last day of pilgrimage. Isaiah 9: verses 6 and 7 talks about Muhammad and the mole that was between his shoulders.
I think the chapter 60 in Isaiah talks about MAKKAH not the Vatican city. 😀

    • I’m muslims and I follow Jesus pbuh, because I follow the Prince of the World that Jesus commanded us to follow. John 14:30 “I will no more speak much with you, for the prince of the world comes, and he has nothing in me.”

-“I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him. If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account.” (Deuteronomy 18:18-19)

-From these verses we conclude that the prophet in this prophecy must have the following three characteristics:
      1) That he will be like Moses.
      2) That he will come from the brothers of the Israelites, i.e. the Ishmaelites.
      3) That God will put His words into the mouth of this prophet
and that he will declare what God commands him.

-Also, one notices from the Gospel of John that the Jews were waiting for the fulfillment of three distinct prophecies: 1) The coming of Christ, 2) The coming of Elijah, 3) The coming of the Prophet.

This is obvious from the three questions that were posed to John the Baptist: “Now this was John’s testimony, when the Jews of Jerusalem sent priests and Levites to ask him who he was. He did not fail to confess, but confessed freely, ‘I am not the Christ.’ They asked him, ‘Then who are you? Are you Elijah?’ He said, ‘I am not.’ ‘Are you the Prophet?’ He answered, ‘No.’” (John 1:19-21).

-If we look in a Bible with crossreferences, we will find in the marginal notes where the words “the Prophet” occur in John 1:21, that these words refer to the prophecy of Deuteronomy 18:15 and 18:18. We conclude from this thatJesus Christ is not the prophet mentioned in Deuteronomy 18:18.

-From the brothers of the Israelites:
Abraham had two sons, Ishmael and Isaac (Genesis 21).
Ishmael became the grandfather of the Arab nation, and Isaac became the grandfather of the Jewish nation. The prophet spoken of was not to come from among the Jews themselves, but from among their brothers, i.e. the Ishmaelites. Muhammad , a descendant of Ishmael, is indeed this prophet.

-Also, Isaiah 42:1-13 speaks of the servant of God, His “chosen one” and “messenger” who will bring down a law. “He will not falter or be discouraged till he establishes justice on earth. In his law the islands will put their hope.” (Isaiah 42:4). Verse 11, connects that awaited messenger with the descendants of Kedar.
Who is Kedar? According to Genesis 25:13, Kedar was the second son of Ishmael, the ancestor of the Prophet Muhammad .

“He will not falter or be discouraged till he establishes justice on earth. In his law the islands will put their hope.” (Isaiah 42:4). Verse 11, connects that awaited messenger with the descendants of Kedar. Who is Kedar? According to Genesis 25:13, Kedar was the second son of Ishmael, the ancestor of the Prophet Muhammad.

The words of God (the Holy Qur’an) were truly put into Muhammad’s mouth. God sent the Angel Gabriel to teach Muhammad the exact words of God (the Holy Qur’an) and asked him to dictate them to the people as he heard them. The words are therefore not his own. They did not come from his own thoughts, but were put into his mouth by the Angel Gabriel. During the life time of Muhammad , and under his supervision, these words were then memorized and written by his companions.

-Note that God has said in the prophecy of Deuteronomy: “If anyone does not listen to my words that the PROPHET speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account.” (Deuteronomy, 18:19). This means that whoever believes in the Bible must believe in what this prophet says, and this prophet is Muhammad.

Who is this Counselor/the prince. The prince of the world is righteous but christians altered the meaning and referred him as devil. Because they knew that the prince was the last prophet.
I think that the prince in John referred to Muhammad before they altered the meaning of verses and the he is the last prophet not devil.

      Who is this Counselor/the prince

It’s very clear that the verses were falsified. Jesus pbuh command to follow the coming prophet but they altered the meaning.

    • Problem is that there is absolutely no evidence of any textual variants or corruption of the Paraclete passages in John 14 and 16. It is impossible for it to have been about Muhammad, since it is about a Spirit, not a human being, who will live in the disciples of Jesus. The human Muhammad comes 600 years later; so it makes it totally impossible to be about Muhammad.

      16 I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever;
17 that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.

      John 14:16-17

“First, there is absolutely no ancient textual evidence among all of the over 5,600 Greek manuscripts to place the word periclytos (“praised one”) in place of paraclete (“helper”).
2 For a Muslim to argue that the correct reading should be periclytos instead of paraclete, shows his lack of understanding of the actual Greek text and the reliability of the copying of the New Testament.

Second, in the same passage, Jesus explicitly identified the “Helper” as the Holy Spirit: “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send, will teach you,” (John 14:26). Therefore, with all due respect, the Muslim argument is already defeated. Third, this “Helper” was given to Jesus’ apostles (the “you” in John 14:16) not to Arabs living over 550 years later! It was given to those who “have been with . . . [him] from the beginning” (John 15:27; cf. Acts 1:22; Luke 1:1-2). However, Muhammad was not one of Jesus’ apostles.

Fourth, this “Helper” was to abide with them “forever” (John 16), but Muhammad has been dead for over thirteen centuries! Fifth, Jesus told the disciples, “You know Him [the Helper]” (v. 17), but the apostles did not know Muhammad. He was not born until over 500 years later! Sixth, Jesus also told the disciples that the Helper would be “in you” (v. 17). How Muhammad could be “in” the disciples stretches all credibility. This reference of being “in” the disciples clearly is a reference to the Holy Spirit’s role of dwelling inside believers as the context of John (John 14:16-26) and the rest of the New Testament (Ephesians 1:13; 4:30) indicates.

Seventh, Jesus said that the Helper would be sent “in My [Jesus’] name” (John 14:26). However, no Muslim believes that Muhammad was sent in Jesus’ name. Eighth, the Helper whom Jesus would send would not “speak on His own authority” (John 16:13). However, Muhammad constantly testifies of himself. For example, in Surah 33:40, Muhammad says of himself, “Muhammad is . . . The Apostle of God, And the Seal of the Prophets.” Ninth, the Helper would “glorify” Jesus (John 16:14). How would Muhammad actually be glorifying Jesus if Muhammad is the last (and the sealer) of the prophets? He really would not be “glorifying” an earlier, inferior prophet like Jesus.

Tenth, and finally, Jesus said that the Helper would come in “not many days” (Acts 1:5), but Muhammad did not come for almost 600 years! Since the Helper is the Holy Spirit, He did come merely 40 days later (Acts 1:5; 2:1ff).

Therefore, given the above evidence, the Holy Spirit clearly is the Helper in John 14:16, not Muhammad.”

      by Ryan Turner at CARM

There is no evidence of any Greek word periclytos – περικλυτος
      rather all Greek manuscripts have:
      paraklaetos – παρακλητος

No one altered any meaning of the text.

    • Proclaiming that “the counselor” is “the holy spirit” make christians in contradictions with their belief. Because in the verse John 14:16“And I will ask the Father, and He will give you ANOTHER Counselor….” the word “Another generates a second Holy spirit which is incompatible with the Trinity, because there is only one and unique holy spirit, as one and unique father and son. #checkmate

  24. Sam Shamoun is the biggest liar on the planet. when he was on jonathan’s show i cornered him and asked him why he wont debate shabir or yusuf ismail. he said they are running away from him. he then asked jonathan to gee removed from the webinar once i had cornered him. during the show he said i was a demon possessed. this programme is on youtube for all to view. i later found out from Yusuf that Sam backed out from debating the iasue of the satanic verses with Yusuf. later in the year after much insults and abuse from sam, yusuf challeneged him to debate pornography in scripture. ABN was contacted but Nawal later informed him that Sam Shamoun cancelled the debate. so there were TWO debate arrangements on ABN and Sam Shamoun cancelled both. when sam was exposed he challenged Yusuf to a debate on paltalk..and yusuf stated that he was no longer interested. right now ABN wants to have nothing to do with Sam Shamoun. WATCH the YOUTUBE webinar where i corner Sam and he goes into a rage…its up for everyone to see!!

  25. God of Muslims Vs God of Christians(TRINITY).

    Who is the most perfect?
Allah is the most Perfect. Why?
-He created human being from none(Adam case).
-He created human being from man(Eve case).
-He created human being from man & woman (like my case).
-He created human being from woman(Jesus son of Mary (peace be upon them) case).
4 possibilities of CREATION. If your God had not done this 4 he isn’t perfect like my Lord. If you believe Jesus is god then he is not perfect enough like my Lord. If you believe Jesus is son of God then the father is not perfect as Allah, because he misses the 4th case. Is there one word in the BIBLE where Jesus invites peoples to worship him as God ?! conclusion: Your God concept(Trinity) make him inferior than the true God. At least I believe in a God more perfect than your God.

  26. “1Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.”

10Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.

11Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains.

Kedar is a reference to the Gentiles in the context of the passage so it can’t be the servant at the same time.

The passage would be self-contradictory in that case.
