Thanks for pointing out and emphasizing that Christian history is not everyone’s history, and that the narrow-minded Christian worldview is not shared by everyone. This type of arrogant thinking is partly what turns so many people off about Christianity, as if no one but Christians had anything to do with creating western civilization, or civilization in general.
Just a little bit of humility from Christians would go SUCH a long way!!

What part of Nickys post was arrogant? It is true that Christianity has a great deal to do with the advancement of Western civilisation.
It is no more arrogant than believing that Muhammad is the seal of the Prophets and the belief that Islam is the basis for much of the rise of the ‘golden age’ in the Middle East. For youselfs it is simply a statement of fact.

I think it’s fair to say that from God’s point of view the hinge of history is at that stable, for up until then God was the center(piece) of civilization… and then He lost that status… Now Jesus is at the center.

Do you really think Jesus would want to take credit for the crime, Greed and overflowing debauchery that is rife in it??
