What’s this, women and children massacred? Time to give these victims their due and compensate their descendants for what was taken from them.
Okay, just to let everyone know, I’m against the modern state of Israel and their oppression of the Arab people. Regardless, how do we know that these bones belong to Arabs and not Israelis, British soldiers or even people left over from the Ottoman era?
There are many eyewitness accounts from elderly Palestinians that victims of Israeli led ethnic cleansing massacres, summary executions, killings and murders, were buried in mass graves, most often with bodies dumped one on top of the other in existing family crypts in the cemetery, contrary to Muslim custom. Also it is well recorded that the Palestinian victims of the massacre at Deir Yassin were buried in a hidden mass grave in or near the remains of Deir Yassin within eyesight of the yad Vashem holocaust museum, and this corroborates the Israeli practice of burying Palestinian victims of Coordinated Israeli violence in mass graves.
The article mentions a Palestinian eye witness – “A local fisherman Atar Zeinab, 80, said that as a teenager during the final months of fighting in 1948 he helped to collect the Arab dead in the area south of Jaffa. They were then brought for a quick burial in the cemetery, the area’s main graveyard.” The article continues stating that this man witnessed the “bodies dumped one on top of the other in existing family crypts in the cemetery, contrary to Muslim custom.”
Also the bodies are definitely not Israelis, because they would not have buried in keeping with Jewish rites and practices and would not have placed their dead in Arab family crypts. Likewise, British dead would have been sent home to Britain for a soldiers burial, or at least buried in Christian cemeteries with Christian rites, coffins, etc.
If this was a grave of Jewish victims of mass murder one can only imagine the public outcry and media coverage….but over 600 dead Palestinians (out of 1300 killed in Jaffa alone) and years on, barely a peep. And to add insult to injury Israel hasbara campaign attempt to whitewash the grim truth with revisionist history like Allan is suggesting above.
One thing that is not debatable is that Israel established a state upon the graves of Palestinians.

I guess when they said “Never Again” they really only meant –
“Never Again…..for the Jews”
Because that statement clearly did not include Palestinians, Arabs, & Muslims.

Agreed. Totally inhumane.
If you want to read something enjoyable, look up the dialogue that Pope Pius X had with Theodore Herzl in 1904.
