Excellent post.
God has been explicit and clear that atonement is by the change in heart and by one sacrificing his/her valuables…such as flour in those days.
And God has been explicit that human sacrifice is evil.
Sad that some do not want to acknowledge these intuitive and fundamentally moral imperatives.
May God guide us all to overcome our sectarian desires and to accept these moral truths that God has imprinted in our hearts.
