Will Jimmy Pastors Swaggart, Eddie Lee Long, Bill Cosby, Bill Clinton and the Church Fathers who molested children and caught with prostitutes go to heaven without sincerely repenting as in Islam? or will they go to heaven just believing “Jesus died for their sins”? Don’t tell me they are not Christians. They are indeed Christians, because they believe as any Christian believe in that Jesus is their personal saviour and died for their sins like any Christian.
I want to know if Pastor Eddie without sincerely repenting after molesting children at his Church will go to heaven or without punishment because Jesus had already paid that for him. Robert Wells can you answer?
If you cannot answer then the death of Jesus on the cross is weak, useless and illogical if it could not save the one who has that belief.
“You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only,” Epistle of James (2:24), Bible
James, the brother of Jesus and also his successor to the “Jerusalem co-called Church, which was just I think in the same Temple of the Children of Israel”
I do actually find it rather interesting that in the synoptic gospels there is minimal focus on belief in Jesus as saving you, rather it is based on living a good life and having good morals. John is slightly distinct here where belief becomes much more important. But it seems that it is not just a simple belief, rather it is a belief in who Jesus was; the messiah, the son of God, and belief in the one who sent him, i.e God.
John 17:3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
And even here, to believe means much more than to just say you believe in who he is, it means to also follow his commandments and live a good moral life:
John 14:15 If you love me, keep my commands… 21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.
This is similar to Matthew 25:31-46, where belief in Jesus would actually mean to do good works, such as feeding the hungry, clothing the naked etc.

Paul,
It is refreshing to see your scholarship and straightforward communication of these facts to remind your fellow companions on earth.
Thanks for spreading the true message of Jesus, and all the Prophets, peace and blessings of God on them all.

“In Christianity, god came to meet us.”
The Christian still has to welcome “Him/”Them?” and invite him in, maintain relationships etc. Which is working your way to God. Megafail.
