    • To me the hadith are too strict, there doesn’t seem to be that much leg room for it to be halal, maybe perhaps if you consider intention being important but still there is an Ijmaa on the issue.

      I also don’t take the view that it was haram because of shirk because the Prophet (saw) said it was haram for another reason, if it was meant for shirk then wouldn’t that be two faced?

  2. Beautiful painting, looking at it, I can see that women in Europe at that time were signs of Islamic morality: preserving chastity until matrimony, covering hair, dressed modesty, serving primarily to take care of domestic household, devoted to raise their children as proper muslims.
