White cannot seem to grasp the elementary point that the Quran is the Word of God Himself who has a perfect historical knowledge of all that Jesus said and did.
Shabir’s point about Psalm 110 and Daniel 7 is well made.
The guy doesn’t apply the same standards on his holy book that he applies on the Quran and always saying he has yet to see a consistent Muslim. He is a Calvinist, his belief system tells him everything is God ordained, including atrocities,violating women etc., but he has a problem with some Quranic verses. Therefore, consistently inconsistent.

That was not my point Mark. White fails to acknowledge the Muslim belief that the Quran is Word of God not just some 7th century scripture. He almost appears to avoid mentioning this fact. If he did then his objections would be far less serious as Shabir Ally has shown.
I agree if there is to be a discussion then it should be done on equal scales tackling the other position in both its strongest and most positive forms and certainly not by framing the other side in such a way as to make them inferior by default.
After all the Bible often records events and stories that are said to predate the text such as the stories of the Patriarchs, even if we use the most conservative dating of the text and attribute authorship to Moses these events still would have taken place hundreds of years before even the birth of Moses as the first chapter of Exodus states that the occupation of the Hebrews was that of 400 years and considering the life span of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph all exceeding a century the time only extends further and further.
James has no problem (seemingly) with this timestamp so why he has it when it concerns the Qur’an is anyones guess, as one previous user said ‘consistently inconsistent’
I am not too surprised if any knowledgeable christian become muslim by relating the son of man in Daniel to prophet Muhammad. If one seek to find prophecy in Daniel 7, prophet Muhammad fit better than prophet Jesus. TheSon of Man is warrior-King who will fighting fiercely=ie. Prophet Muhammad, the high holy ones are identified as being of earthly kingdom= community of the believer who adhere to God’s law i.e. the Muslims Ummah who technically citizen of the Islamic nation, the Caliphate.

Yep. But in not mentioning this belief he makes the Muslim view appear unreasonable and untenable. This is deliberate. Hence my criticism.
