  1. So, how does calculus deny God?

  2. Calculus doesn’t deny God. He is just speaking metaphorically in how scientists try to use science against God. But that is a false dichotomy that Atheists try to bring up. Indeed as the Oxford mathematician John Lennox points out the ability to do science which presupposes that the universe is ordered by elegant laws is itself strong evidence for a Designer.

I love Hamza Yusuf. May God bless him. Ameen.

He is right…the atheist leaders are hypocritical and are liars when you talk to them at length.

They have no alternative as to how existence exists, let alone how amazingly fine-tuned it is from the very beginning of the Big Bang, let alone consciousness, let alone the existence of the mind (intelligence) in people, let alone the moral sense.

“A metaphor is a figure of speech that identifies something as being the same as some unrelated thing for rhetorical effect, thus highlighting the similarities between the two” (Wikipedia)

“Liebniz believed in God, that’s where they got their calculus from to deny God.”

Can you point out the “something” and the unrelated thing”

    Thanks

  4. Lots of summary conclusions and a basic confusion of strong materialism with atheism. Neo-Kantianism never before seemed quite so illiterate.

  6. Omer, have you abandoned your loved one?
In the absence of further argument for your metaphor explanation, we can conclude that he is talking nonsense. Calculus is an important tool used in much of science. As he doesn’t seem to know what calculus is, he is poorly qualified to pronounce on matters scientific.
