No, I’m not his secretary. I simply watched his Dividing Line programme. You seem rather content to “fatally wound” Christians who you believe don’t know about Jesus’ teachings of forgiveness and justification, but you’re unwilling to debate James White. Has the lion suddenly turned into a teddy bear?

yawn… are we having this same discussion yet again? I have explained my reasons before countless times for my refusal to debate White. His stubborn refusal to except this fact speaks unfavourably of his character.

but when peter is rebuking jesus they never step in the narrative and defuse the dispute
they are never inserting themselves between jesus and his disciples. now that is strange.

Robert, could you point us to some of the narratives between Jesus and the disciples in the Qur’an? Since you seem to be operating on a standard as to how the narratives ought to have been, I look forward to seeing what you have.
By the way, you don’t actually believe that everything in the Qur’an is to be understood by the readers, right?

@Roylason, I listened to White’s debate challenge. It’s funny how only a few weeks ago he was attacking Paul personally and marginalising him as somebody who shouldn’t be taken seriously and now White is challenging him to a debate.
Hmmm, where’s the consistency? It actually shows the man says stuff in his tirades against people which he does not stand by nor believe in.
Thus he turns to Paul because a bunch of Muslims seemingly have not responded to the invitations in London. Muslims need to have more self-esteem and recognise they don;t need to go running to James’ beck and call whenever he wants to debate. Especially considering he has a low view of many Muslims – he even debates some he openly states don;t understand the trinity idea (who can blame them as the author of Mark did not even understand the trinity idea – he had no earthly clue what it was!!!)
BTW he contradicted himself in that segment and he was cutting corners to the extent of losing accuracy and fairness when he was talking about Hadiths and trying to appeal to Hadith acceptance as some reason why Muslims should go easy on those anonymous books they call Gospels.
Oh, James White, I know you;re reading (your ego doesn’t allow you not to read something about James White) you really should stop with those arguments based on your wild-eyed speculation that the Arab Christians the Muslims encountered has the same scriptures as you. You may want to read some Ahadiths which say interesting things about the scriptures around at the time. That’s how your arguments are flawed, you base them on the false premise (your speculation) that those people had the same scriptures as you. I can rattle of two scholars who don;t believe so…but hey, I may save that for a video I hope to do in the future. Sadly, from past experience I have seen your ego doesn’t make it easy for you to accept correction and listen in order to learn.
James, your ego may not allow you to admit this, it’s huge step down from Rowan Williams to you. Muslims could learn something from Paul here. Jumping into debates with a man who is only using it for self-promotion and ego-stroking is not helpful. His debates are full of repetition because he’s been debating the same topics for years. Surely, the serious minded followers of James are getting bored. I think James knows this hence why he is looking to add a bit of spice to this debates – Paul Williams is that spice!
If you’re still struggling to find somebody send me an email, I may think about joining Sami, Bassam, Shabir Greg Stafford and Roger Perkins (!) in putting you on your backside metaphorically 😉 NOTE: I will ONLY think about it; no guarantees – I don’t have self-esteem issues either – those who define themselves with debates have issues 🙂

White’s main arguments are ‘muslims are inconsistant’ ,
‘muslims use unequal scales’ and muslims don’t
understand the trinity,’ blah, blah….blah! Heard it all
before. Here’s a challenge for white, come up with
something original against Islam!

White, Shamoun, Wood and Qureshi, always tend to
mock the muslims they have debated after the debate
on facebook, twitter and their various channels. In
the recent debate between wood and Brother Shabir
white, was mocking Shabbir during the debate on
twitter! They have no respect for Muslims. They
use these debates as self promotion.

Just listened to white’s DL where he challenges Paul to a debate. Lol. What a silly man white is! And to think some christians regard him as a scholar. LOL!! Muslims are beginning to see through his mask and avoiding him! That’s why no muslim is willing to debate him when he comes to UK.

He is One and Only, He is not a man and He is not Triune! The deep chasm is between the OT and the NT! Christians have to do verbal gymnastics to make Yahwe a triune God!
