Have Christians not yet made the connection between “the passion of the Christ” and jihad?
The idea of striving and suffering for the sake of God even unto one’s physical death is the essence of jihad. According to Christian belief, this is the sacrifice that Jesus the Messiah made for humanity. This is what Muslims believe as well, except we do not believe that Jesus was killed. Rather, he was saved by his Lord and raised to heaven so that he may return to be the savior of mankind in the End of Times by killing the anti-Christ and establishing true justice and peace on earth.

That reminded me of who the Muslim antiChrist is according to the sayings of Muhammad collected by Sunni scholars 200 years after Muhammad’s death.
Few of the books on Islam by non-Muslims mention much of this.
It really astonished me when I learned the details:
A.The real title in the sayings of Muhammad is not antiChrist but “The False Messiah”(Al-Masih(the Messiah) ad-Dajjal)
B.Several sayings of Muhammad say The False Messiah will be blind of one eye.
C.Other sayings,many I think,say “The Lord is not one-eyed/Allah is not one-eyed”
So there are Muslim scholars who say that since there will be a False Messiah, blind of one-eye, and since Allah is not one-eyed,
then the False Messiah will claim to be God and Jesus the Messiah at the same time.
D.In the last days there would be Two Men claiming to be the Real Jesus.
