Subtitled ‘Exploring the best arguments against democracy’ this new site is a growing database of good arguments against democracy from diverse sources: Christian, atheist, Muslim and so on. It is deliberately iconoclastic.

In modern politics, a gadfly is someone who challenges the status quo or a popular opinion. As a gadfly I seek to critique through the words of others the unthinking acceptance of a deeply flawed system of government and source of legislation. Examples range from Plato to Winston Churchill to Isaac Asimov.
