Americans are Clueless about Muslims Beliefs about Jesus

“What do Muslims believe about Jesus? Is he mentioned in the Quran at all? Do Muslims believe in Jesus, or even like him at all? Media analyst Mark Dice hit the streets in San Diego, California to ask random Americans what they think. Their answers, and the truth about the Islamic view of Jesus may shock you.”

  1. Interesting !🙂
I think those people have no idea who Jesus is to begin with!

About the ( returning of Jesus in Islam) , I think christians got it wrong.
I mean that man said repeatedly tha Jesus will rturn to ( judge ) humanity!
Christians have to know that the day when Jesus will return, it is NOT the day of judgement itself.
Returning of Jesus in Islam is a major ( SIGN) that the day of judgment( i.e when all people will be resurrected ) is very very close.
Jesus will live a while then he will die eventually.

The judgement is only for Allah.

  2. I noticed a lot of parallels between Islam and Christianity; however, the problem is who Jesus is to these two groups. That may be a seemingly small difference to some but in actuality it is monumental. Jesus is the son of God. He is the hope of the world. Yes He died but he rose from the grave and lives. He will not return and die. He holds the keys to death and Helll; therefore, death has no power over Him because He is sovereign. I had some Muslim friends that grew up in Palestine. They had trouble with Christianity because they would say to me “we worship One God, no questions.” My answer, “so do I. I say no to polytheism, I’m not about that life.” Then they say “but you worship Jesus and God.” My response: “don’t forget the Holy Spirit. the three exist as one, this is the trinity.” By now everyone is scratching their heads. I couldn’t exactly explain the trinity because much of the trinity is a mystery to us furthermore our minds cannot understand how three can be one. They then said to me “what about how you bow to a cross, this is haram! ” My response: “that’s what Catholics do, I observe the 10 commandments. I bow to no one or nothing but the living God of heaven.” I challenged my Muslim friend to pick up the bible, he ran to his back room pulled out a bible and showed it to me. He also informed me that he attends bible study every so often. That silenced me because I surely thought once he learned about my faith, he would turn away from his. what I didn’t know then that I know now, my job is not to convert. My job as a Christian is simply to expose. What happens next is between God and that person.

    • “I’m not about that life”
      Legendary response haha.

By the way same way Muslims ask Christians about bowing down to crosses, Christians can ask Muslims about bowing to the Kaaba. A muslim would tell me that they don’t worship the kaaba, well christians don’t worship the cross even if they may bow to it.

  3. When i read the koran and got to the bit where Jesus says “im not one of three” i just had to laugh out loud. One of the last things he said to the disciples was “go into all the nations baptizing in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost” Matthew 28:19

  4. You are kidding me Hank!!! I suppose you believe when Jesus says “the Father judges no one. All judgment has been left to the son” is also nothing to do with claiming divinity?

Of course, any old created being can judge the whole of humanity

  5. Oops sorry Hank. Just realised you were being facetious. Nice!

    • That’s okay. Yep, facetious indeed.

If we take a look at His “temptation” as recorded in a synoptic, it certainly seems as though Jesus Christ was not just some super duper hot shot human.

“Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. After fasting forty days and forty nights, He was hungry.

The tempter came to Him and said, “If You are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”But Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”…

Then the devil took Him to the holy city and set Him on the pinnacle of the temple.“If You are the Son of God, he said, “throw Yourself down. For it is written: ‘He will command His angels concerning You, and they will lift You up in their hands, so that You will not strike Your foot against a stone.’” Jesus replied, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’”

Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. “All this I will give You,” he said, “if You will fall down and worship me.”…“Away from me, Satan!” Jesus declared. “For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.’

Don’t know about you, but I am not aware of anyone else who was attacked for being the Son of God and underwent an ordeal like that. While mankind may not recognize Him for Who He was, His archenemy certainly identified Him and tried to destroy Him. He’s been at it for a long, long time using any and every conceivable tactic. Nevertheless, his tricks have taken on a familiar tone and they are in use today.
