After capturing the city back from Isis, there are still Christians there. I am not supporting isis by any means but the media has lied to them saying they killed all the Christians like how the Christian crusaders killed or sacked all Muslims and Jews from Spain and no single Muslim or Jew remained in Spain.
Recently, the government of Spain apologized to Jews what the Christians did to them and trying to make amends by passing a law that will grant a Jew citizenship when he immigrates to Spain right now. I was surprised to see Christians in the town captured from isis.
