Speaking exclusively to Christian Concern, Rev. Dr Gavin Ashenden explains his decision to leave the Church of England. His reasons are sensible and easily justifiable. The interesting question is where will he choose to go next? To Rome, or Orthodoxy, or will he found his own church?

He sounds like he will begin his own ministry. But, it is a breath of fresh air to actually hear a member of the established Church admitting that the church no longer functions as a moral entity that promotes God but is a defunct institution that prostitutes itself theologically in order to stay relevant in a Godless immoral society.
The Church of England left him and God!
