80,000+ were killed in Italian concentration camps in eastern Libya yet Omar Mukhtar did not allow 2 Italian Prisoners of War to be killed.

History tells us the who the real “Barbaric” crusaders have been, and it certainly wasn’t the Muslims…

Very Sad and Disturbing what is happening those who are torturing and killing in the name of Islam.

I Pray that Allah softens their Hearts and they see the Errors of their Way otherwise Judgement/Punishment awaits them.

Their Gross distortion of the Deen is just Ignorance, Arrogance, Misunderstanding & are simply being Misled.

Maybe according to your liberal understanding, but the actual Muslim sources are pretty clear,

“Narrated Atiyyah al-Qurazi: I was among the captives of Banu [tribe] Qurayzah. They (the Companions) examined us, and those who had begun to grow hair (pubes) were killed, and those who had not were not killed. I was among those who had not grown hair.”

    • Mark you need to brush up on your history.

these men were not prisoners of war, they were part of the military alliance in Medina with the Prophet against the attack by the Meccans at the battle of the trench.

The banu Qurayzah (during the battle which lasted many days) secretly and traitorously entered into talks with the enemy Meccans and agreed to attack the besieged people of Medina from the rear. The plan was to defeat their own allies and give victory to the pagan Meccans.

However the Meccans eventually departed Medina cold and starved, unable to breach the deep trench that had been dug.

Muhammad discovered the treachery of the banu Qurayzah and a judge was appointed to decide their fate and all parties agreed to be bound by his judgement.

For the terrible crime of betraying their allies at a time of war the men were sentenced to be executed. The punishment was carried out.

The death penalty for treason in time of war is still enforced by the USA and most other countries.

Ordinary prisoners of war are treated very differently as numerous hadith attest. Torture is prohibited and prisoners are usually released. Compare this with how prisoners have been treated at US controlled Guantanamo Bay.

““Narrated Atiyyah al-Qurazi: I was among the captives…”

Maybe a captive isn’t a captive if Muhammad is involved?

It’s really sad that you defend Muhammad when his actions contradict that of the OP.

    • The article is about how Muslins should treat prisoners of war: ie those who attack and wage war on the Muslims. They are to be treated decently.

Traitors however, those who betray their own side, are not normally called ‘prisoners of war’ but traitors, and in most states today whether Muslim, secular, Christian or whatever, it is a capital crime.

Consider: At the end of WWII Britain did not execute German soldiers/prisoners of war, but we did execute those British people who had worked for Hitler and endangered our liberty and security. You think that was wrong? On what basis?

Can you not see the difference?

  8. “Can you not see the difference?”

Paul, Muhammad and his companions killed every male captive who had pubic hair, and then kept the women as bounty. According to Muslim sources, they were captives.

Is this what the UK did? Stop making silly comparisons to rescue the horrific actions of your prophet.

    • Let me see…

Christians see Jesus as God. That means that he was also the God of the Old Testament. The same God who commanded all those killings of women, children, babies and animals (see 1 Samuel 15).

Truth is, Jesus ordered the killing of children and babies. You can try to contextualize it all you like.

Thankfully, Christians are more noble than their prophet.

Jesus Christ himself is depicted in the New Testament as being very violent during his Second Coming:

The events of the Second Coming of Christ are found in the Bible, including the Book of Revelation–which is the last book in the New Testament. Jesus will “judge and wage war” (Rev. 19:11), his robe will be “dipped in blood” (19:13), and he will be accompanied by “armies” (19:14) with which he will “strike down the nations” (19:15), including “the Gentiles” in general and “the nations that were opposed to him” in specific. This will result in the “utter destruction of all his enemies”. Furthermore: “in his second coming, he will complete their destruction, when he shall put down all opposing rule, principality, and power.”

Once he conquers the infidels, Jesus “will rule them with an iron rod” (19:15).

Truth is, Jesus killed all those who opposed him. You can try to contextualize it all you like.

    Luke 19:27

    Jesus said;
    New International Version
But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them–bring them here and kill them in front of me.'”
    —————————

The Romans are in control and Jesus could not have power to kill his enemies but Jesus was violent to some people and called a woman dog.

It is clear when Jesus comes a head of state he will carry his above statement as Paul Williams stated with details above.

Christians are noble than Jesus Christ because they will not call people dogs and want to kill them because they do not want them to be their kings.

    Prophet Mohammed.

Prophet Mohammed, and Moses, and other prophets, unlike Jesus are head of states and commanders to protect their population which comprises of weak, sick, children, properties etc.

It will be a sin if these prophets sit without fighting to defend their population and properties. So our prophet satisfied God command to fight and defend God’s religion and the population that follows it.

Imagine or put Jesus is that shoe if he were to be a head of state. Will he sit down without fighting to protect his population? If yes, then he will b a great sinner. If no, then what the heck are your accusing prophet Mohammed as head of state?

Is the president of France not attacking isis to protect its citizens? Why blame prophet Mohammed for attacking treasoners Jews who want to annihilate Muslims like isis want to kill people is France?

Read a lot, think a lot and be truthful a lot. It will save you than hating all Muslims and their prophet. Hate isis, elshabab, evangelical Christians supporting Donald Trump to ban all Muslims and Zionist people using Bible to kill babies in the UN compound marked as UN, then I will be in the same page with you.

Singling all Muslims with their prophet to hate them is disingenuous and hatred that Bible is against. Do not hate for un-reasonable reason.

You have a good reason to hate what isis and some Donald Trump supporters support for banning all innocent Muslims from the US as so many Christians and Churches and Church pastors did.

Muslim imams, organizations, individuals etc. publicly hate what isis, boko haram, elshabab etc. are doing.

    Thanks.

  16. Jesus will return as ruling king (because he is the Son of God), and revelation is highly symbolic. However, during his incarnation he came as a humble servant. His followers were to imitate the latter, not the former.

Muhammad, however, executed men and boys after checking if that had pubic hairs. Since he is the perfect example, it logically follows that his followers should do the same. Thankfully most are more noble than him.

So if one wishes to compare Muhammad to the second coming of Christ, one becomes guilty of comparing Muhammad to God, a great blasphemy and commiter of shirk

Comparing Prophet Mohammed to what God????

    Jesus?
You might have been crazy with your wishful thinking because Jesus is only God to Trinitarians but not Christians such as JW, Arians, Ebionites, Unitarian Christians, Jews, Muslims and any regular God believing person who do not have religion.

But the God of Abraham who is the God of the Jews is God to everyone. You know not everyone believed Jesus is God so Jesus is not coming as God and we will compare him with any human being because Jesus is 100% human being and it can be compared to any human being.

God cannot be seen or die but Jesus was seen and died according to Christians. Was this not comparing your God to human being? Probably you are comparing your God’s human part to human being and do not accuse us for also comparing your God to human being because your God was beating to death.

Who can beat God to death? Trinitarians.

Trinitarians say God was beating to death and that is unpardonable blaspheme by the Trinitarians but they turn to accuse others who say no God cannot be beaten to death and any one who was beaten to death is not God. A pot calling a kettle black.

    Thanks.

Yes, and they are totally depraved at the same time by nature, and Jesus defeated sin and death and squashed the head of the devil, but the devil still rules big time, as we see with Islam, as Islam is from the devil a priori, and God died for your sins, yes, but he didn’t die of course, … yes we know all that dude, hear it again and again and that’s why you are utterly stultifying yourself

  26. I’m not running away- you are just trying to be fallacious and change the topic (plus not all of us live life in front of a screen). Since Jesus is the ‘God-Man’ according to Christian theology, it is completely wrong to reference ‘Jesus’ in the Old Testament.

You may like to talk about Yahweh in 1 Sam 15. or even the Son, but prior to the incarnation the Son had not yet assumed human nature.

Now, remind me again why a Muslim would defend a man’s actions (Muhammad) by appeal to God’s? That is shirk, and because your fan club here hates Christianity so much they seem to be even willing to allow you to blaspheme for the deen.

Some of us have life behind screen, working behind screen and we thank God for that.
Yahweh is not Jesus? according to you?

    But Yahweh is God

    So, Jesus is not God.

God of the old Testament is God to everyone including Trinitarians. If you are not willing to refer to that God as Jesus, then Jesus is not God. The God of the old testament said He is the only one true God and Jesus said that.

God-Man was beaten to death by Trinitarians so the God part and the man part was beaten to death by Trinitarians. Than is unpardonable blaspheme to beat God to death.

We do not hate Christians but hate islamophobs like you. We have Christian friends and families. Brother Eric has employed Christians at his work in Indonesia.

Pointing our the differences and similarities between us and also bring the truth and inconsistencies out is not hate. Mr. Henry and Jonathan Doyle do contribute here but they are not islamohobes but good Christians who really want to know the truth. Your contribution is full of hate.

Remember you said God became man and you do not have legitimate right to blame someone for comparing God to man. God became man. Isn’t so?

Why not compare that man to other men?

If a man becomes car, I have every right to compare the man-car to car. If man becomes BMW car in Germany, Toyota cars in Tokyo, Japan will be envious, so Rastafarians are envious why God did not become a black man but a white man so the believe it is a black man and He is emperor Haile Selassie.
