The coffin of late boxing champion Muhammad Ali arrives for the Islamic funeral prayer, in Louisville, Kentucky

I was browsing an article about the funeral service when I saw these two photos and I was surprised and delighted to see Shaykh Hamza Yusuf leading the coffin (white man on the left).

  2. Truly heartbreaking to see the body of this great man confined to a coffin. Sadly, this will be the fate of all of us until Christ’s return and subsequently the day of resurrection.

Muhammad Ali was truly a beautiful human being. The two regrets in my life is that I never got to meet him and that I never was able to meet Bruce Lee, another fighter that I love tremendously. I truly hope in my heart that God in his infinite love and mercy bestowed his favor on both these men by granting them entrance into his abode of peace.

This may not sound too profound or intelligent but DEATH REALLY SUCKS!

  3. This was the greatest thing Muhammad Ali did – he persuaded a man to not commit suicide.
