This goes to show just how un-Islamic these people are that they would disregard the clear commands of the Prophet. We must not allow the extremists and their allies to control the narrative of what is true Islam. Such monsters seek to spread fear and division through their actions so that we might hate one another and thus further their goals. It is not enough therefore in my opinion to be ‘tolerant’ of Muslims but instead to be friends with one another.
This priest was an incredible example of this unity through his work in helping the Masjid in Normandy to be built and the friendship with the Imam. Remember also the many Muslims who died at the Daesh hands as well as Christians and Atheists. They don’t care nothing is sacred to them even attacking the Prophet himself in Medina.
I do not agree with killing civilians. But Allah gives the right to live. People do not have the right to live just because they are human. Only a Muslim has the categorical right to live. Non-Muslims may get the right to live through the Dhimmi contract.
Nadir you are a misanthropic nightmare. Prophet Muhammad (sas) won the hearts and minds of his fellow pagan society.
How many hearts will you reach with your insane ideology?
New International Version
But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them–bring them here and kill them in front of me.'”
New Living Translation
And as for these enemies of mine who didn’t want me to be their king–bring them in and execute them right here in front of me.'”
is not good?
Murder someone who do not agree with a person? Parable or no parable is it good? No it is cruel. Imagine if Muslim or Prophet Mohammed said the exact words or Jesus. D and his Christians will say Islam is violent but they have a way of sugar coating this wicked verse by Jesus Christ.
Did you tell Donald Trump and his supporters not to ban all Muslims?
Think what you like. I’d like to hear Paul on this. Either he believes we are at war with Islam or he has misappropriated Islamic military war rules from its context to make himself seem seem more moderate after the murder of a priest by Muslims.
I hope it is the latter but I’ll wait to see. Its not a good look if Muslims need to remove a saying from its context to make Islam appear peaceful.
Nadir is consistent in that this text has been pulled by Paul from a manual for war. Ergo, it is only applicable in that context.
Paul, why do you misappropriate Islamic texts and teaching? I’m glad you think this murder is wrong, but clearly your moral compass is coming from something other tha Islam. I’m sure deep down you know why.
@Nadir “Non-Muslims may get the right to live through the Dhimmi contract.” You forgot about treaties, just like the treaties that the Prophet ﷺ made with non-Muslims like the Constitution of Medina: which gathered Jewish tribes, pagan tribes under one and single community (ummah), also the treaty of al-Hudaybiyyah…etc In our world today we have United Nations treaties. Violating them by declaring war is prohibited, Quran 5:1 “O you who have believed, fulfill [all] contracts.” In this verse, the term ‘contract’ refers to all commitments between two parties on a particular issue. In his interpretation of the above verse, the erudite Tunisian scholar, Ibn ‘Ashur says: ‘“Contracts” in this verse refers to one of a genus denoting the totality [of contracts]. It includes covenants that Muslims made with their Lord such as to follow the shari‘ah … pacts of allegiance between the believers and the Prophet, not to associate partners with God, steal, or commit fornication … agreements between Muslims and non-Muslims … and agreements between one Muslim and another’ (Al-Tahrīr wa al-Tanwīr, 6/74).
International law and the United Nations base upon contracts. So obligation comes only by agreeing to the terms.
An exception is Human Rights. They can be forced upon everyone according to the UN.
Islam rejects Human Rights. Islam allows international contracts. Peace treaties can be made but every contract has to come to an end.
@Nadir At least you’re being honest in affirming that Islam allow international contracts and hence we should respect UN treaties signed by Muslim countries. By the way Islam does NOT reject human rights, in the Shari’a rights are divided into rights of God and rights of humans.
It goes without saying that the killing of Fr. Jacques Hamel is a crime in blatant contradiction to several Islamic texts. For anyone with cursory knowledge of the Quran, you’d suspect the prohibitions of murder such as Quran 25:68 “and they do not murder a soul which God has sanctified…” would be sufficient. Apparently not, as the perpetrators added another level of evil to their act: they targeted not just a clergyman, but an elderly man at that, both expressly forbidden by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ himself. He said instructing those waging legitimate warfare: “Do not kill a child, woman, elder, sick person, or a priest.”[i] The acts of these two were neither legitimate, nor were they warfare, bringing us to their third act of malevolence: their lawlessness and vigilantism. This too was unambiguously censured by the Prophet when he said “There is no sin more likely for God to expedite the punishment for than vigilantism.”[ii]
again such ignorance that shows how not providing a full description and being vague can create the perfect environment for someone who has no knowledge to create his or her own fairytale to suit what is attempted to be portrayed here:
the letter written from prophet Muhammad to the monks of St.Catherine Monastery of Mt.Sinai –
As a covenant to those who adopt Christianity near and far, we are with them.
Verily I, the servants, the helpers, and my followers defend them, because Christians are my citizens; and by Allah! I hold out against anything that displeases them. No compulsion is to be on them. Neither are their judges to be removed from their jobs nor their monks from their monasteries. No one is to destroy a house of their religion, to damage it, or to carry anything from it to the Muslims ’ houses. Should anyone take any of these, he would spoil God’s covenant and disobey His Prophet. Verily, they are my allies and have my secure charter against all that they hate.
No one is to force them to travel or to oblige them to fight. The Muslims are to fight for them. If a female Christian is married to a Muslim, it is not to be without her approval. She is not to be prevented from visiting her church to pray. Their churches are to be respected. They are neither to be prevented from repairing them nor the sacredness of their covenants.
No one of the nation ( Muslims ) is to disobey the covenant till the last day (end of the world )
Now if one wishes to discuss “Do not kill” then perhaps your aim should be directed to the war machine which has killed so many innocent lives that it has itself stopped counting.
i don’t condone killing no matter race or religion.
again we see an attempt to thwart the truth here..shameful actually

Why am I a troll? Explain this. I am not liberal and secularist. That does not make me a troll.
Saying too much of this in real life would bring me in trouble with the authorities. But I do talk about the basics in real life too.

To be not liberal and secularist doesn’t mean you have to be a misanthropic hate monger.
I bet you are great at enjoying the personal advantages of liberal and secularist consumer society.
