The background to this tweet concerns ongoing arguments in the Roman Catholic church about Pope Francis seeming to allow remarried Catholics to receive holy communion (which is contrary to traditional church teaching). No proper answers to that question I notice. The numbers of marriageable adults are actually fairly equal, in societies with peaceful conditions and where most men attain a marriageable age.
