If the quran is such a gift to the world, why are muslims so reliant on man made texts like the hadith and tafsir – books that were written decades and centuries after mohammed died – to give the quran context and establish islam’s worship rituals?
The main message of Quran can be understood by a child which is not soemthing you can get in your contradictory books in the bible! Those books which were written by men whom you don’t know who they were even.
However, you can say that the the knowledge about God is gradual. There’s the maximum, and there’s the minimum.
Like I said many events narrated in the bible were written down many centuries afterwards. Kev should be concerned about this. But he deals in double standards.

Then why are you reliant on the hadith and tafsir to give the quran context and meaning? There’s nothing original in the quran that other faiths already say, sometimes in an even more beautiful way. It is not miraculous and there is nothing even divine about it – it sounds like folk stories of ignorant nomads.
Even the hadith and tafsir – bodies of work stemming from the mind of man – are more thorough better written. If the hadith is so great and mohammed is such a good example, why don’t people convert to islam after reading the hadith?
