There may have been more than one library which were destroyed on various occasions. You are being dishonest when you accuse Muslims only even though “Xtians” are equally accused. Also, the accounts of Muslims destroying the library are inauthentic and late.
But it remains a fact that Christian Roman emperors (Theodosius, Justinian) closed down philosophical schools along with pagan temples, and the philosophers fled to Persia. It was the Muslims who preserved these classics and re-introduced them to Europe.
