    Exactly.

    The doctrine of trinity was developed by misguided men in an attempt to justify the worship of a false Greco Roman man god and explain the neccesity of such an innovation from a judeo-christian perspective. The unstated intent of the doctrine is making polytheistic idolatry more palatable to a strictly monotheistic Abrahamic faith.
